I suspect, that this scrote has an exceptional ability to tell people what they want to hear; but when it actually comes to doing anything it's a complete and utter failure.

There's nothing wrong with blowing up your life even if it looks perfect from the outside. If it is not congruent with what you need to be able to sleep at night then do it.

One caveat. Don't trash a comfortable life for a flash in pan situation, and if it's some sort of dumb ultimatum, leave.
