I had a similar “that’s it, I’m done!” moment about 6 weeks ago, when I found out a guy I had been talking to lied about his age by 10 years. I just... could not handle talking to any men anymore after that. It’s good to take a break.

I was dating a guy in his mid-late 30s that still had women on his social media who I was suss about. When I enquired about them three times he just brushed it off and pretended he didn’t know what I was talking about and they were probably “just friends”. Finally he deletes them, but I found out they were from tinder. Some of them were 20 years his junior. I couldn’t get passed it.

Edit: I left him. But it was at that stage more because his reaction of serious anger and calling me names/ stonewalling and gaslighting etc. made me feel like he was hiding something more.

But really, you’re smart to just move on now. Don’t even bother communicating because they just lie through their teeth.

I'm sorry you had to go through that... Dating sites used to show what men had set their age range to and that was my number 1 requirement - if they had anything below 24-25, I would ignore them.

Why would a man in his late 20s or early 30s want anything to do with someone who is still in school or who hasn't got their own career, place, etc? Which where I'm from doesn't happen before 25. Pedo tendencies, that's why. Imagine having a daughter with someone like that... No.

These dating apps caught on and now we can't see their age preferences which really fucks me off. We need a dating app developed by feminists (on the low). Ugh...
