Ahhh... Step by step instructions for 90% of the male population to turn into creeps. Bravo.
As with all things, take this advise with a grain of salt. Know when you're barking up the wrong tree, when a chick isn't interested, and when she actually has a boyfriend and zero interest in fucking you. Communication (both verbal and nonverbal) is subtle, as with the seduction game. If you get zero nonverbal IOIs and she says she has a boyfriend, your time is best spent gaming other women (i.e. don't be "that guy" at the bar... it comes off as creepy and desperate).
[–]ThirstyPink 52 points53 points54 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Completely agree. I see a lot of posts here that say doing shit like this is “alpha”. It’s not. It’s fucking pathetic to turn into a creep and convince yourself you’re being alpha.
[–]the-other-darrell 30 points31 points32 points 8 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link
Can't help but agree with this.
I feel like if your game was good enough and she was interested in you, she wouldn't even mention she had a boyfriend, or she would give you a bit more of a lead.
If a girl just flat out says, "I have a boyfriend" and nothing else, either she really does have a boyfriend and she's really into him. Or she doesn't have a boyfriend and she has zero interest in you.
Go game other girls, don't take it personally. Pursuing this one can and will put you well into creep territory.

Ding - Ding - finally someone gets it
Too many people are having their egos get in the way when analyzing a social interaction. If a woman you're talking to sees that you are alpha and highly desirable, do you think she's going to bring up potential roadblocks? Ive seen female friends trip over themselves while scrambling to get a chance to talk to a hunk, and not once have they mentioned a partner, when they all do. And it goes both ways, sometimes when I'm hitting the bar after a consult session dressed in nice bespoke suit, sometimes single women will call out their taken friends when they realize you're giving their married friend more attention.
Essentially, when a woman says she's got a boyfriend, she's telling you to get lost - not push harder.
[–]RedPilledGodEmperor-3 points-2 points-1 points 8 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
EXACTLY. I have never understood still trying to game a woman who says she has a boyfriend. It's a waste of time when you could use that to have fun or game other women. A woman telling you she has a boyfriend is her saying that she's not interested in you.
Heck, one year on Halloween at a bar, this chick was all other me. She actually approached me and at some point, we were making out and dancing. In the middle of us dancing, she goes to dance with some other guy. Her friend said that the dude was her boyfriend. He somehow never say us making out. During all of that, she never mentioned her boyfriend to me.
[–]KarmaEnthusiast0 points1 point2 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
You can game a girl with a boyfriend for a few reasons: 1. To sharpen your skills 2. To get in with her female friends, most women have some 3. To fuck her anyway, this is what most people here are going against but it's a very real possibility. You might feel shitty afterwards if you have empathy though just as a warning.
But the general idea is right. My rule of thumb is the longer it takes for her to mention a (real) boyfriend, the more she likes you since she wants you to invest more before she feels the need to put up obstacles.
[–]RealMcGonzo-2 points-1 points0 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
As with most ideas, context matters. If she glares at you, says "I have a boyfriend!" and turns away making a disgusted noise, you're toast. Plus you have now creeped out every chick within earshot. But if she nervously fingers her drink, looks the other way and says it, then looks back at you, well that's a possible opening.
[–]Triadis3 1 points1 points1 points 8 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link
Know when you're barking up the wrong tree, when a chick isn't interested, and when she actually has a boyfriend and zero interest in fucking you.
Just how do you specifically figure that out without blowing past her token resistance?
Creeps? That Guy?
For hitting on a woman?
Yes, game is subtle. Which means you have to polarize her. Make it unsubtle. Have her actually say, "thanks, but not interested."
I have a boyfriend is a cop out. You're making it easy on her. Don't do that.
This is close to both moralizing and concern trolling.
You're exactly the guy I wrote this post for.
[–]SteveLonegan9 points10 points11 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Women don’t spell shit out for you like that. If you’re talking to one and she says “I have a bf” you at least need a sign like eye contact or flirtation to pursue further without being a creep. If she’s not giving you any don’t be that guy who won’t take no for an answer.
[–]herrrro0 points1 point2 points 8 years ago (7 children) | Copy Link
Don't know why your getting down voted to hell, I agree a women will cold shoulder you completely when she wants, it's up to you to push her boundaries and show yourself competent
Down voters are just those still scared to swallow the pill, they're looking for the perfect things to say to be "smooth" they still care about being called creepy by people they won't ever see again
The massive influx of BP mindset here is disheartening.
I put up this post because every week some askTRP newbie gets shut down by this simple shit test.
This is NOTHING new.
Basic TRP philosophy and tactics.
Yet it gets blasted.
There's been a massive downturn in the quality of TRP over the last six months. I blame the mods completely for not doing their job and taking out the trash.
I'm done.

WAHHHH SOMEONE DISAGREES WITH ME.
Forcing women to be blunt with you makes you a creep. Communication with women isn't a direct back and forth explicit dialogue.
Women exist in a state where a lot of guys they tell "no" get confrontational and hostile. "I have a boyfriend" is an attempt to tell you no by avoiding that confrontation because they have no idea who you are.
If you want a flat out "no" go hit on a guy. Men are direct communicators. Women are not. Pay attention and find someone else who doesn't put up roadblocks before intimacy even becomes a topic of discussion.
[–]TheRedPillMonkey1 point2 points3 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Dude, your post is bp as fuck. It's completely devoid of some core redpill principles such as abundance mentality and watching her actions and ignoring her words.
You literally are advocating to just listening to her say she has a bf and assuming it's a shit test. Wrong mother fucker. You ignore what she says. Her words are irrelevant to her actions. If she's smiling at you, flirting at you, playing with her hair at you, then yes, it's all a shit test. If she's cold shouldering you, then move on. Not doing so is the lack of abundance mentality. There are other bitches at the bar and focusing on that one makes her that nights oneites. That's bp as fuck and every other girl at the bar will smell the desperation on you.
[–]rikleeRed423 points4 points5 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
you're just mad that you tried to be an "alpha" with this post and nobody is buying it.

"Oh good, he can make us breakfast in bed."
"That's cool, I'm not looking for a girlfriend."
"Nice when's the wedding?"
"Don't tell me about your problems."
Ignore/A&A. Hold frame. Escalate. Don't text back.
[–]Rollo_Mayhem34 points5 points6 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Yeah, I think you should initially take a stab at it. I generally just ignore and continue the interaction. Sometimes the boyfriend will actually come over to her if he's out with her. Other times, if I already banged the chick, she would tell me not to approach while he was around in the bar. She said "not tonight, my bf is here." I played it cool. You can never tell sometimes.
[–]1Sir_Distic10 points11 points12 points 8 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link
I had a girl tell me yesterday right before she gave me her number: "I'm kind of talking to this guy. We're exclusive but he's not my boyfriend." lol. That hamster was spinning. All I said in response was "Give me your number." She did.
"See? I knew you could land a man!" or "I'm not really interested in a 3-some." or anything that shows her you give no shits about her supposed "boyfriend"
I once told a girl, with a sincere head tilt of total concern.... "Really? With your personality?" dead faced concern. Then I smiled. She laughed and smacked my arm, calling me a "jerk" 10 minutes later I had her number. It never went anywhere. But girls don't give out their numbers to guys if they have a boyfriend, unless they are interested in possibly branch swinging.
[–]donttouchmykicks 1 points1 points1 points 8 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link
"Really? With your personality?"
stealing it
I had a girl tell me yesterday right before she gave me her number: "I'm kind of talking to this guy. We're exclusive but he's not my boyfriend."
for me, boyfriends come up all the time after the girl has already accepted hanging out. usually right before or after the initial date. but the girls that mention it during the initial moments of a cold approach aren't shit testing and 99% of the time plowing isn't going to change their mind. too much fantasy bullshit in this sub.
[–]1Sir_Distic0 points1 point2 points 8 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
This was after we joked about a dinner date. I asked her what she's having for dinner. She told me. I asked "When are you going to cook for me?" that turned into her making plans to make dinner for me and her asking "Is this going to be a date?" "You bet" was my reply.
She came up to me the next time we bumped into each other and said she "Was joking about the date thing" because ... "I'm kind of talking to this guy.... etc" I just smiled and said "Give me your number." I've texted her once to put my number in her phone. No response yet. Oh well.
As for your second response: If a girl brings it up before you ask for her number or similar than chances are she does have one. However if you're high enough quality she won't care/will cheat/will swing.
[–]hodltaco16 points17 points18 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Never forget...women come from many countries but they all have a common 1st language which is shit test.
[–]0signal017 points18 points19 points 8 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link
It matters if the guy is likely to find out and beat you up or even kill you. Happens here in Colombia all the time.
[–]rahl_r10 points11 points12 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
I've always wondered what the box is like. Whether the cat boyfriend in there is comfortable, or crammed in place. Alive, or dead (in which case, at least they wouldn't mind being squashed).
Aside the obvious title, what I find inspiring (in broader context) is this:
You unwillingness to be "that guy" and assuming you're "bothering" girls is your own insecurity peeking through your ego protection defenses.
See, some guys are so far gone they need to have it spelled to them. Thanks, I guess.
[–]Guthix4Days3 points4 points5 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Not sure this is the right thing to do.
The whole "I have a boyfriend" thing is an excuse that really means "not interested". The best thing to do is to back off and move on to the next, big deal.
Failure to heed such warnings results in dire consequences (coming off as needy, creepy, desperate etc.) and any attraction that was left will be killed off completely. Abundance mentality is everything.
[–]TunedtoPerfection6 points7 points8 points 8 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
You have to evaluate the context of the situation before just barreling through resistance like this.
If you can't even finish your first sentence before your hit with a snappy "boyfriend line" move the fuck on. Does it matter if she really does? She being bitchy I don't got time for that shit.
But if after 30 minutes, while we are on the dance floor, I got a giggle and a bit of playful resistance followed by the "boyfriend line". Don't even acknowledge it, if she actually had a boyfriend who she wasn't looking to cuck she wouldn't even get in this situation
Its always about the subcommunication ,context, and general vibe of the situation. Women live their lives in this maelstrom of emotions, so you have to be aware of the winds swirling around you as your connecting with them.
[–]waking-life1 point2 points3 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
"Women live their lives in this maelstrom of emotions, so you have to be aware of the winds swirling around you as your connecting with them." <--- this is beautifully put!
[–]bkk1232 points3 points4 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
I honestly don't think it's a shit test with the girls I meet.
It's more of an "absolve me from my personal responsibility for cheating so I can later hamster that you made me do it" kind of thing.
[–]herrrro1 point2 points3 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Don't worry about those stuck in the blue pill mindset, your still helping those out on the beginnings of their journey
Thanks for the post mate! keep up the good work

"I have a boyfriend" My favorite line: "Yea me too!"
[–]Senior Endorsed Contributormax_peenor0 points1 point2 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
"Me too! But I'm not gay, so he lets be sleep around". <-- Thrown for the end zone. Sometimes you get the points.
[–]FU-ThatsY 2 points3 points4 points 8 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
A girl who is attracted to you will hide the fact that she have a boyfriend if she has one. If she lie about having one then you're not attractive enough for her to give you her time.
[–]Andgelyo0 points1 point2 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
This. During undergrad I got numerous's girls numbers, hung out with them, they would text me first asking to hang out etc. , but always hid the fact they had boyfriends. It wasn't until I added them on facebook that I found out.
[–]FirstDitchEffort131 point2 points3 points 8 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link
You sound like a Beta creep. Respect women as equals and realize they don't "owe" you anything, little Beta fish.
[–]slumdog-millionaire 1 points1 points1 points 8 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link
Absolutely, agree with virtually everything you said, go to responses:
Who said I'm interested in you that way.
I have a girlfriend but I'm allowed to talk to strangers
Did he tell you not to talk to any other men?
Great post OP
[–]Mad66Mav6 points7 points8 points 8 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link
My fav reply: Cool, me too.
[–]OpenJars6 points7 points8 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Here are some more:
"That's okay, I'm not the jealous type."
"That's cool, do you also have a phone number?"
"Woah, it's a little too soon to be calling me your boyfriend isn't it?" (Chance that she may repeat the shit test after laughing with this one; "No, really I have a boyfriend" in which case you just pass it again in another way. Boom, double pass = double attraction)
“You really thought I was hitting on you?” (Only use this one on women with high SMV, as these types of disqualifiers are suited for women who expect all men trying to get in her pants)
"That's cool, I have a <insert whatever car you have>." Her: "Huh? / What? / Umm Okay?" You: "Oh, I thought we were talking about things that don't matter. So <say something flirty and unrelated>"
This is probably also a shit test that you can ignore and say something else instead of addressing it at all, preferably with something funny, charming, or flirty.
[–]thesmithofwords 1 point2 points3 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
One of the hardest shit tests IMO, because it forces you to cross the point of no return. No more plausible deniability of just chatting or having fun.
You have to double down on your intentions, this shit test especially sucks if the girl is part of your social circle (AKA persisting may negatively impact you). You have to be able to read if its a shit test or if she actually wants to remain faithful which is not easy without practice.
[–]SmashingSenpai-1 points0 points1 point 8 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link
Or maybe you could just leave her alone and realize she's not interested in you.
[–]P36hawk1 point2 points3 points 8 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
Yes much better to wait for a communist revolution and your government issued girlfriend™, eh comrade?
[–]SmashingSenpai0 points1 point2 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Yes, a great strategy.
I prefer the robotic models, specifically the GFX-84900 with lubricant and vibrating parts.

[–]eyezofnight0 points1 point2 points 8 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Met up with a girl on Tinder, grabbed food and she suggested we go see a movie. Drove to movie and we are sitting in the car. We are talking and she says she has a boyfriend. I ignore it and continue on. Eventually I went for a kiss and she had heavy resistance. Tried holding her hand as we were walking to the theater, pulled away. She payed for the tickets btw. During the movie I tried to hold her hand again, pulled away. On the way back to the car I put my shoulder around her and she pulled away and almost UBER'd home.
Later that week we were texting and she """accidentally""" sent me a pic of her BF and her.
Anyways we still ended up meeting up again, grabbed food, then she bought me Boba tea and we played cards.
I then asked her if she wanted to watch X and she said okay. Day of she asks me where are we watching the movie at and I told her my place. Which she said I can't come over then. Told her it's just a movie and she still wouldn't budge.
Haven't texted her since. Should I just move on? lol
[–]1Sir_Distic8 points9 points10 points 8 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
You should have moved on when you dropped her off after the first date. She's playing you. Using you for her attention and getting validation from.
[–]onemantwo0 points1 point2 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
I don't see how I'm being played when she is the one buying me stuff. Only reason I even bothered is because she is my ideal girl in terms of looks, 4'11 with heels on and Asian.
[–]Andgelyo0 points1 point2 points 8 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
Tf you doing bro, move on. You're supposed to smash the day you meet up with women on tinder. None of that date bullshit and buying lunch, etc. You're using it wrong.
I've met up with plenty of Tinder girls but typically we fuck by the second time. I don't buy them anything, bro.
[–]RedPillgrim-5 points-4 points-3 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
i have never gotten the "i have a boyfriend". ever. not to say i'm some uber sexy chad (almost) but the girls interested enough to engage with me have never said that. i was flirting with a milf once, and she mentioned her daugh- little girl. if a girl is attracted to you enough she'll do anything to get you on her side.
