I used to have a husky. Best dog ever, but when he started killing chickens, instead of putting him down, I gave him to an old man. The old man took him everywhere, and one day while hunting the guy stepped too close to a rattlesnake. The dog jumped in to defend the guy and killed the snake, but died from the venom.

The old man called to apologize for the dog's death. I said I always knew he was a good dog.
