It's even worse than the somewhat click-baity title indicates. After getting some clarity in the middle of binge drinking she finds herself in media res with some dude, the first thoughts she recounts are:

Notice, even by her own account, her first thoughts are not "I'm being raped". The article slowly has her "realize" a decade after the incident that she was raped, even though the man's perspective (did she initiate? was he likewise very drunk?) is not taken into account at all. Hell, for all we know, and by her own admitted hazy recall, she is just as likely to be the rapist in this scenario.

The hamster is just warming up, though. Time passes, she graduates, gets a boyfriend, gets a job. Meets old uni friends for another night of drinking where this fellow will also be attending. Again, rather than being horrified, she by her own admission:
