I'd rather have 8 hour days. The only way I could see 'cheerleaders' being useful is if they had some breakroom for a chair massage. Would not be able to stand them cheering while I code because they would have no idea what to cheer.

I saw this many years ago. Companies hired cute women to sing songs and play guitar and look cute in the office. Compliment the male workers and make them feel good.

It was supposed to make lonely men want to come to work, and maybe prevent talent-loss from suicide or moves to a hot-girlless environment.

Would it work? Well, if they are going to hire women to use you to do their work for them or report you to managers, or just directly hire them to look cute and smile.... I'd much rather have the latter.
