It's all just psychological warfare. They're trying to create artificial scarcity to pressure you into making a buying decision. They're trying to pretend like there aren't other markets out there. Listening to them would be the opposite of having an abundance mentality.

Ironically enough, I'm considering writing a post about this based on my experiences living in a suburban town in the South. It was common for guys as young as 23 to get married to their high school/college sweetheart after graduating college and settle down in some white-picket house in the boring suburbs. It was as if marriage was some sort of Holy Grail to these people, that once achieved, all your problems would dissipate like some happy ending to a Disney flick.

What these poor schmucks don't realize is that their unicorn of a wife (let's face it, every guy thinks their wife is a special snowflake) has already hit her peak SMV. Her attraction is going to fade year after year while the husband's SMV will continue to rise into his 30's. Now these guys get to go home to some nagging bitch of a wife who can divorce them at ease and demand child support, while us "sexist misogynists" can improve our SMV, increase our career prospects, lift weights, and bang Eastern European models in our 40's. It's a shame these schmucks don't understand the sexual marketplace the way we do.

I lived in Iowa for a while after graduating college, its where I got my first real job after college. Anyway, I think its all about scarcity.

The one thing I noticed is that all the good, higher SMV women my age(22-26) either had a boyfriend or were married. Hardly any of them were single.

I think its scarcity. Less people means less higher value SMV men and women, combine that with the smaller town pressures you referred to and you have a bunch of young single people taking what they can get.

I bartended on the side and one night I had a double date come in and sit at a table in the bar. It was 2 men in their mid 20s, SMV(based on looking at them) around 5 and with dates that both were engaged to, who were 0s. Yes, 0s. Fat, ugly, gross, annoying laugh, no positive qualities whatsoever. It made me ill. Settling for these 0/10 women in their mid 20s. Why?

I had an FR a long time ago about playing with some game in a very small town on a trip for work. Your observations are good, but a few things I've learned:

Don't even bother talking to women. Talk to men and build rapport. Dudes love to meet another cool guy. Ignore the women, except as part of casual interactions. You CANNOT come across as "new due trying to steal the limited supply of pussy" and you are not going to game a chick at the bar when 90% of the people in the bar know her and 3 are exes without massive social proof with the MEN. You need to be one of the guys first.
Not all women in a small town are from that small town. Last time I was in that particular town I met this solid 9 at the B&B I was staying at who was the new english teacher at the local school who was renting a room. Had only been there two months and knew almost no one (quiet, church-mouse type). If I wasn't leaving that morning, I'd have tried to go for a "I'm sick of hanging out at the only bar, you want to grab dinner in (next big town over)?" date.
Every town has its trollops. If your social acumen is good and you get the right amount of social proof, look for that "thousand cock stare" slut giving you IOI's. Warning, she's fucked most of the guys you're shooting pool with, but everyone knows its just your turn on the town merry-go-round. Proceed with extreme caution if trollop sex is your deal. Very likely to be a 4-7 (if you're lucky).
Every town has its few super-high value girls. Every single guy in town and many of the attached ones think they've got a shot. You'll figure out who these girls are very fast. Do not even give them attention, otherwise you will destroy any rapport with the men you're with due to competition. If your SMV is VERY high....and you read the situation JUST right.....and even play some "covert ops game" you might pull this one off, but its far more likely to result in getting pulled aside by whatever guy has bonded with you the closest and being told to back the fuck off and just have a good time. Had this happen once.
I haven't personally experienced this, but every small town has its undercurrent of substance abuse. Probably the easiest group to get in with and get laid in once you're "accepted", but your options will be limited to the local coke sluts (and not the high value ones....the dealers and leaders will have them) giving you a beej in the local meth house. Probably on the "do not try" list, but its a part of the "rural poon" spectrum.

Otherwise, yes, 90% of the women in town are either taken, looking for an LTR, or have far too much social capital to risk throwing it away by being known as the whore that fucked the rando dude, even if she's attracted and your game is tight. Word gets around like wildfire....I've spent two nights in one town and know of three of the hot affairs or new pair-offs in town, some with people I was working with. You aren't getting secret Tinder action in West Bumfuck.....just not gonna happen.

This is why the young people leave for the cities.

I live in a small town and here it goes like this: If the girl is at least good enough for the boner test chances are they are in a relationship. College? 80%+ have bfs. You go for a walk and all you see is couples, girls with rings in their hands and so forth.

The only ones that are single (and believe me that even some fat ugos are in LTRs) are the 3/10 and lower.

What do you do in that situation? You'll have to compete with the other alphas for the scarce number of "party sluts" or cuck guys in relationships (and face the possibility of "retribution" by the guys, even though it was their unicorn that cheated).

Small towns are crap for abundance mentality.

As a general trend, on average the SMV of small town women is lower than city women. City women face a lot more competitive pressure to look better. Obesity rates among women are usually also higher in small town settings. If the small town is economically depressed, which right now in the US is a huge problem, the obesity rate will also be much higher than average.

So of the young women you will see that the slim and attractive women make up a smaller percentage of the population than they do in active and wealthy cities. The really attractive ones have a strong motivation to move to the cities because the top earning men usually live in the cities. The other 6-8s who still live there have a much larger population of males going after them.

I have friends who were 4-5 and moved from big cities in California to small towns back east. While most guys were not interested in them here they were a hot commodity in bumblefuck and instantly had dudes going after them. They know they don't stand a chance against a California 7 but a California 3 in rural Idaho is a 9 by their standards.

The smaller the town (agricultural/civilized), the more patriarchal it becomes (early ltrs and marriage). The bigger the town, the weaker the social bonds are and increases anonymity, giving women more wiggle room for their image (hook up culture)

Slut shaming is not natural. It was started after the formation of patriarchy. The ghost of patriarchy past lingers if you will. Women don't care about being sluts, they just care about their image. Most ppl 18-25 get their self worth from finding a person and being in an LTR. That age group is gna judge others for not having one the hardest. I noticed over 25 yr olds don't hold it as such a pillar of their existence and therefore don't judge others so harshly on whether they have gf or not.

I am from an extremely small town. What you say is a farce. There are no good women in small towns because good women move out and go to cities. I go visit my home town quite often and all there are are single moms, tattoo fatties, or old ladies. No way in heck do I ever plan on moving back there.

I wouldn't worry about women talking too much. They always talk about unimportant things but at the end of the day they're all bad for alphas. Trust me, I know that if you act like a true alpha, like me, you'll have no trouble.
