I am against censorship in all forms and usually hate it when someone is forced to not speak, but this is a little different.

She was slated to speak at a Suicide Awareness event. Since most suicides are male, it is highly inappropriate that she was to headline the event after tweeting "All Men Must Die."

You may not like this sort of approach, but whether you like it or not, this is the way things are done now. Men are at war; it is not a war we started. Clementine Ford's people have been shutting down films, shutting down conferences, and pulling fire alarms whenever they get a bug up their ass about anything, however innocuous it is.

The difference is that, for a long time, men didn't do the same. And the results have been like bringing a knife to a gun fight; men get slaughtered in the press, the laws get worse by the day, and (most importantly) men only get the sense that they don't matter.

For my part, it should have never come this far. Lifeline Australia may have pulled the speaker (they still haven't said if it was because of the petition or not), but their reputation is still toast among us men, because they should have never thought to feature her there in the first place, as far as I'm concerned. What the heck does a misandrist agitator know about suicide anyway?

There are MRAs with decades of experience and training in things like domestic violence who can't even speak to MRAs at a hotel MRAs pay for, without getting dropped by the hotel because feminists complain. Meanwhile, we have an Australian NFP that qualifies for government grants--Australian men's tax money--paying a woman with no training or experience with suicide, who is only known for man hating screeds, to get paid to talk about a serious male problem (suicide). If men who find a problem with that aren't allowed to object to that then, quite frankly, maybe they should kill themselves.

As a MGTOW, it's no big deal to me if she's paid to be there, or gets boycotted, or gets pulled. I've lived in this gynocentric world long enough to know that, most of the time, nobody is going to give a fuck about what men want.

But for the MRAs and men who have been, systematically, deplatformed for talking seriously about paternity fraud, false rape accusations, and other things they want to talk about, this was a win for them that was both obvious given the new rules of engagement in the gender wars, and long overdue.

MRAs have, as far as I know, this one scalp in the deplatforming wars. How many scalps of MRAs were taken in the years before this? Too many to count.
