I've long since separated porn and masturbation and given up the combined habit, but I still frequent some porn. My excuse has been "inspiration" for things I do with my LTR.

But, it seems lately, especially during this coronavirus quarantine, I just can't take it. The commentors in these subreddits make me want to vomit.

Some ugly fat girl can post a picture of her toes and within an hour there will be 10 comments telling her what a goddess she is.

Not only that, but OnlyFans/Instagram/Manyvids spam is also at an all-time high. And the moderators on many reddits are too cucked to do anything about it, and are generally just god awful in general.

I understand the loss of faith in humanity that being a moderator can bring, people are really really dumb, but the loss of frame and abuse of power that follows is almost as disgusting as the incels that spam 10 emojis and hand out compliments to women that they don't know, and especially women that aren't even pretty enough to merit such compliments.

I just went through my subscription list and removed all porn subreddits, as well as a few communist shitholes like r\worldnews and r\politics.

I'm sick of reddit in general and tired of giving this shitty website traffic.

TL;DR Are there any other websites besides trp.red that are worth subscribing to?

It's a shame. I was warned about porn as a young boy because of my religious parents. But religion was never a good enough reason. TRP explains things practically, and the practical reason to avoid it is the reasoning I can live by.

I still haven't fully grasped the magnitude of impact that porn has on people.

I just know that I had enough humiliating encounters of absolute bombshells laying naked infront of me, waiting to get fucked, only for me to get soft inside of them after not even a minute because I don't get enough stimulus from real sex. Or even worse - I don't even get hard at all.

It feels so much better and is a great reward when you finally know your patience paid off.

Stay away from those things. Unless you are nearly 40, these are dangerous for young males.

Though I must admit, I was very tempted to try those. But I did not want to make drastic decisions without even attempting to get back to normal without those.

It's far from perfect, but I am content with the results. I get it up much easier and I never had the issue of getting soft during it again.

How long did it take to reset?

Already after roughly two weeks I was feeling way better and had less trouble. Only time can tell in the future.

People don't talk about the big range between types of porn much in this context, but I think it makes a huge difference.

When I was dating my girlfriend I didn't feel the need for pornography at all. As soon as she left the country I felt pretty alone, obviously from not having her around, and turned to pornography to substitute having her presence at home. I've never joined any subreddits associated with porn or even read what other people comment about or what they like or have a preference for, I don't waste my time on that. There are many circlejerks of people with the same fascination, obsession or interest, that simply are addicted to anything and everything that one small niche or interest offers, and whether its the latest computer chip or some random girl showing off their feet, they're going to get a dopamine rush and buzz off it, and you don't want to be dragged into their addiction. Well, if you're a computer specialist and need to know the latest electronics then that's probably a good thing, but to be addicted to porn I have to say it's a very bad addiction, and there are very few organisations doing any research into its negative effects on society which is alarming to say the least. I've been struggling, when I wasn't with my current gf, for a good period of 10years addicted, with a large period not knowing it was damaging the way I view sex and women in general. TRP helped a lot but you still need to find your own way through life and what works for others may not work for you.

I don't subscribe to world news or the global politics sub, it's all pro& Democrat, pro-progressive, anti-Donald Trump, anti-conservative crap, it's almost as if it's designed so that the most ridiculous news stories and equally ridiculous talking points are plastered on the homepage. I'm not even 100% for Donald Trump or conservatives or their movement and the virtue signalling and narrative that's being pushed is so obvious that it's honestly sickening. I don't really have many other recommendations unless you look at pundits like Ben Shapiro, Dave Rubin, and those associated with them who take a more right-leaning stance, you don't have to agree with every thing they say but they'll give you a more balanced perspective on politics in general. Plus you'll know how to call out their illogical viewpoints and narrative as well. I'd recommend other organisations or publications but at the end of the day many of them are basically funded by wealthy millionaires or billionaires on the right side of politics and you always have to know that they have their own agendas and they'll be acting as if they are with the "white working class" or promising they'll do this and that simply to get your support and votes, without actually keeping their promises. I'd actually recommend reading up on a diverse range from radical left and radical right until you find what authors are commenting on what you feel is important to you and go from there.
