I need to discuss this because I don't want to make the same "mistake" in my next relationship.

I disclosed that I had (1) sexual relationship (1) time with (1) woman and it caused huge problems with my boyfriend.

Should I not disclose this next time? Or should I disclose it, and if he has a problem with it, it's a red flag and a sign to leave right away?

I'm torn because on the one hand I'm not ashamed at all and I don't think there's anything taboo or wrong about WLW. But on the other hand, I identify as heterosexual and want a monogamous relationship, so am I unnecessarily complicating things by telling this story about my past?

Sigh. It's in my nature to not keep secrets, so I'm struggling with this.

I guess even beyond this one example, how much detail/truthfulness do you give and at what point in the relationship do you give it - about your last relationship, why you broke up, etc?
