Yes, I too am interested in the origins of this sub.

Like you, OP, I am a fan of Shera 7.

Love her! When I first started watching her I was *bambi eyed* "oh no she is so mean to men!", then like 30 seconds late "Damn, this girl is fierce - I want her energy!". Everything Shera7 says is on point.

And yeah - she totally coined PickMeisha lol.

It's a shame 'dusty' hasn't sneaked into FDS vernacular. A dusty is an LVM.

I wanna say this sub has the best moderation. I can't imagine how many scrotes come screeching in the comments here and yet I pretty much never see evidence of them.

I don't know, just wanted to share my first experiences with it: I found the sub as GC's sister sub but I came across the mindset first by Asha C. Connected the two in my mind, but these were two separate occasions.

I've heard the term "Pick Me" going back a couple years on another forum. Tbh, I didn't get it at first. I interpreted it as judgmental and combative towards women.

I discovered Shera recently but apparently she uses the term "Pick Me" going back a few years. If there are similar youtubers, I'd love some recommendations.
