There are no early signs that a man will go through midlife crisis. This is why I reject marriage.

There is nothing worse than being tied down to a middle aged man who goes crazy.

They have no respect for the women who raised their children and supported them for who knows how many years, holding their own dreams back. Or worse, thinking that being married and finding "love" is the most important goal.

The replies to his post are brilliant, I was so worried to read other creeps egging him on. The first comment was perfect. “There’s nothing admirable about paying for a lot of sex. You are paying money to destroy your soul” well said and so true.

The whole "I feel like I 'missed out' and am therefore entitled to indulge my fantasies" trope is so infuriating. (Women aren't immune to it either, I have a female friend who married when she was young/inexperienced and struggles with the idea that she somehow "missed out" on a bunch of hot rando sex.)

These people don't seem to understand that just because you feel like you missed out on doing something doesn't mean you'll a) be happy once you DO do it or b) even have the chance to do it now. It's just so childish.

Anyway. The guy in the OP is already clearly a sex addict ramping up to a full-on life ruining spiral out of control. I'm glad some of the other commenters gave him some hard truth.

I feel like someone could make a god tiered post about how to identify a man with a healthy relationship with sex.

There are obvious signs like including violence or perversions. But men like this one might appear normal, until you look for signs of an addictive personality.

There's a difference between a high sex drive and men who use sex to fill a void. I don't fix broken men but I would at least like to nudge them in the direction of getting help while I'm leaving. Before they hurt another woman.
