How often should a guy make contact in the dating phase?

Honestly multiple times a day. If a guy doesn't text me and keep in touch immediately after a date I am going to assume he's not interested.

Once a day atleast. Multiple times a day ideally.

Anytime a male has not messaged me multiple times a day, I wait for him to message the next time. I ask where he has been. He makes some excuse. I say "Well I want to hear from you every day 🤗" and if his behaviour has not changed permenantly, I ignore/ghost/reject.

Most times the male has stepped up and messaged me multiple times per day.

A couple of times per week, either calling or texting to check in and organise the next date.

Beyond that maybe a few social media likes if either of us have posted anything, maybe a meme.

Not so much a constant chat everyday but a little something that shows they keep me in mind here and there. We’re both busy and I would find it annoying to have to keep a text chat going, or have pleasant but unproductive calls interrupting my day.

I’m probably in the minority here, but 1-2 times a week is enough for me. My last ex wanted to text every day, all the time and it was overwhelming. I like my space.

As someone who doesn’t like texting, I would still say most days.

I have a job where I’m constantly on deadline and then I have a second job that keeps me out of the house until 11pm some weekdays so I genuinely don’t look at my phone much and can take days to respond to messages that aren’t pressing.

However, I think a guy texting you most days of the week shows his interest and that he’s thinking of you so I let them do it and just respond when I can, which means HE might not be hearing from ME every day.

Ok I have a question about dating.

So I tell men on bumble I'm looking for a boyfriend /something serious. I'm under the impression that this mean I want to date get to know someone and be in a committed relationship.

However I feel like this might not mean the same for others or my approach is wrong.

How do you express i want something real but willing to get to know you before making yoj my boyfriend?
