How do you all feel about Bumble?

Honestly, I don't understand how bumble aligns with FDS strategy if we have to reach out to men first. I've always found men to be extremely entitled on it.

It's essentially against FDS principles because you have to reach out to men first. I like Bumble BFF though, made three new girl friends there this year :)

I actually met my husband on Bumble! I’m not sure about the algorithm part but I can tell you. It’s worked our better for both of us to meet someone who wants the same things. We are both career oriented in our 30’s, never married and no kids. Not religious. Both looking for a healthy partnership that leads to marriage.

We met August 2019. He was the second date I had met with. We had an instant connection. 2 months after that, he takes me ring shopping. One month later he proposes to me. 1 week later, we found out I was pregnant! 4 months later we were married. A year later and I could not be happier. He is the most wonderful husband and father. I pinched myself everyday!

I hate that the ball is in my court, I hate chasing men! I did not like bumble and deleted it almost immediately. They have to chase me otherwise I'm not interested. Just my opinion. I am working very hard to get rid of my pick me ways but this one was a no brainer.

I’m half-ass using bumble right now. They offered me a free 2 week trial for the upgraded service where I can see who’s liked me first so I don’t swipe, I only go through who’s already liked me. I don’t mind messaging first but I immediately unmatch if someone can’t hold a convo and I always wait for them to ask me out.

Still a ton of guys who apparently can’t read that I’m looking for a relationship but that’s OLD for you no matter the app.

I was using hinge for a bit which I like but it seemed to quiet down a lot for me so I moved to bumble. Tinder is just a flaming pile of hot garbage as always. I deleted it a few months ago after using it on and off and don’t plan on going back.

I should just go out in real life and meet men but this is okay for now lol
