I absolutely can not date someone who loves Trump and there are so many. The sad thing is I usually don't even need to ask because THEY love asking or just constantly talking about it.

Ask him where he gets his news. If he says Fox, OAN, FaceBook, or any other propaganda service run for the fucking hills. Facts tend to have a liberal bias.

Bring up controversial people/celebs/politicians or watch shows about women/LGBT people. Also, watch him for when he's mad/annoyed. it's easy for men to say they respect women or poc or lgbt people when they're talking about "one of the good ones", but do they call hillary clinton a c-nt? MLK is okay (now that he's dead and can't fight anymore) but is a black guy that cuts him off in traffic a n-gger? Gay dudes who look masculine and like sports are okay but is a gay dude that's visibly flamboyant a f-ggot?

I was on a first date the other week with a guy who brought up Greta Thunberg, and gave me his unsolicited opinion on her. (I won’t repeat his hateful comments, it was all the same cut and paste bile you can find anywhere there are men discussing an influential female of any age).

I cut him off and changed the subject by saying something firm like ‘I do not have any interest in speculating on X’ and moving on. I could have walked out of the date, but it was more valuable to me to stay at this point as I was in the mood to practise some of the harder aspects of FDS (I’d assessed my personal safety risk as minimal to none).

THE AUDACITY that this guy displayed by genuinely thinking that it was acceptable to talk in such a negative way about a female child, in front of me, was just breathtaking. It was made worse because it was a conversation topic he brought up with zero encouragement from me. Additionally, I had given him no clues at all that I would be siding with him in his hatred, this was all just part of his own universe. Never forget how much unearned confidence these guys have. It’s sick.

So, my point is, I call it the GT test. Regardless of where you are socially, economically, politically, it simply cannot be OK to trash the character of a female child. So far, it has a 100% accuracy rate, so if you can do it subtly, observe how he talks about her and by gosh you better pay attention.

Just imagine 15 years down the line when you have a daughter and she’s getting passionate about her own beliefs and research, and he doesn’t agree with it and is always shutting her down in front of you and her other family and friends. You going to be OK with that? The best time to protect your sons and daughters from unsupportive, belittling fathers, is before conception.

I listen for the dog whistles and I absolutely refuse to date any military. Mentioning immigration/refugees does a good job of weeding them out. For example I have very firm pro immigration beliefs, cannot and will not date someone whose views oppose mine. Because the issue is so important to me, I know the dog whistles of anti-immigrant wankers.

A simple online investigation will reveal which political party the person is registered under.

It came up in a recent investigation I ran on someone and I was surprised this information was out there.
