Idk if this was a while ago but I’d show these texts to all your mutual friends and consider culling your friend list based on their reactions/actions.

It sucks, but you’ll know who your real friends are when they choose to either cut off your abusive ex or if they make excuses to hang out with him anyway. He’ll constantly ask about you through them so you’ll have to watch what you say to them and it’s just not worth it. I’ve been there.
