Broke it off in September but I wasn’t in a rush to kick him out (for stupid pick-me reasons).

Living in our shared space is emotionally toxic for me...but I’m often internally conflicted about making him gtfo. I don’t want to be “the bad guy”,

He can rent a storage unit and pay movers to move his stuff into it. He doesn't need to wait until he has the time off from work to get this done, he doesnt even need to be there. You just have to be home to let the movers in and tell them what to take.

This was hard for me too. I ended up living with my ex for several months after the breakup because it was the easiest and we get along well but it still hurt a lot emotionally. You're not in the wrong about wanting him out asap though, and he always have the weekends don't he?

He's not on the lease. You're within your legal rights to give him 30 days notice. If he's unable to move his things then he should ask a friend to do so for him.

I've had exes stay but I was 100% over them. We just both needed some time to get financially stable and separate bills and stuff. Ground rules are important. No sex with each other no bringing people home giving each other some alone time in the apartment. It's doable but not fun.

Give him a time limit for collecting his stuff. If it is still there after, sell as much as you can and donate the rest to charity.
