Now that covid is settling down and there’s a lot of outdoor foot traffic due to the weather, I have been approached by several guys interested in learning about my ethnic background or asking about my tattoos. It is always when I am alone and always when I am walking in a very populated area.

I can smell a pickup artist from about a mile away because their approach is always the same and they all have that slimey attempt of charm and wit oozing from their pores. I’ve been through their bullshit spiel too many times to count and it’s almost fun to entertain their bullshit at this point, knowing full well they won’t ever get the privilege of touching me.

Ladies, be aware of this odd phenomenon. If a guy cold approaches you (especially while you are walking alone) and makes up some weird excuse to talk to you (ie: “sorry I just saw you walk past and I think your Herschel backpack is so cool!”) he’s probably a pickup artist.

I can usually tell when a guy who cold approaches me is not a pickup artist, because their first comment is not in regards to some superficial thing about my appearance, and they usually will not do it while I’m walking in a populated area.

PUAs stand in these areas for hours and approach girl after girl, hoping to score a phone number or a date from girls who are out of their league. Once in a while though, you’ll get an attractive PUA. Do not give in. He will waste your time.
