Girls who can't go more than two seconds without looking at their phones

This drives me fucking insane.

I ride the bus every day to and from work. I see these girls on the bus, constantly looking up and down from their phones. Sometimes they don't even look up. It's possible for some of these girls to spend 45 minutes straight looking at their phones. They may not even blink for fear of missing out on a Facebook status update, I don't know.

These girls have the attention span of an ant, and the personality of a border collie. They have never read a newspaper in their lives; they have no idea what's going on in the world. You can't talk to them about anything, because if it's not on their Facebook feed or related to one of the seven million apps on their phones, they can't relate to it.

The same girls who scoffed at you in junior high for being into computers are now entirely consumed by their phones. It is the sole focus in their lives; they literally live and die by it.

Just as you shouldn't trust a guy who hangs out exclusively with women, neither should you trust a woman who does not have any close female friends. The inability to relate to people of your own gender speaks volumes about your demeanor.

i have a personal rule against chicks who drink frequently or alot in one sitting. it denotes a ton of potential risks I know better than to get near. I also think the abscence of a sense of humour or when they think they're funny but aren't is a sign of prior egofarming/ being gassed up by orbiters.

The horse girl... shit, my mind just blew up. I knew one girl that was so into horses that when she had to travel and leave them behind for work, she brought her saddle.

She was married and would always try to play some shit to get me to come over and talk about how she wasn't attracted to her husband (in the end her husband divorced her, because she was pregnant with some other guy's kid, 2 years later she is back with the original husband and her condition for the remarriage, dude had to adopt the other man's boy...)

I stayed clear of that crazy from day one.

I don't really believe in these lists when women make them, and I don't find them terribly helpful from guys either.

I'd like to agree with some of these, but my real world experience (and I've been watching) hasn't shown much correlation. I don't know enough women who like horses to make a call on that.

But the girl I liked dating the most was a total plentyoffish attention-whore (I did not meet her on plenty of fish, of course, I met her in person). Still, she was both the most fun loving and considerate person I've dated.

A couple of times I've realized that a girl was trying to run guy-game towards me. I definitely found it unattractive, yes. But I know a girl who runs nearly perfect feminine girl game, guys fall in love with her, then she falls in love with their best friend.

Seriously, the only thing I've found is to maintain state, enjoy yourself without being needy, and realize that you probably don't know anything whatsoever from reading the "signs". I have a handful of rules for myself to weed certain kinds of people out, but mostly it's just impossible. The minute I think I've "figured it out", someone comes along and proves me wrong.

I think coming up with a list of "signs" is more of a follow (girl) game. It's not very helpful for the guy doing the leading.

Shit, I was tired of dating depressed/eating disorder girls (not knowing they were like that upfront). So I came up with a rule - if I spent more time bonding with a girl over negative topics than positive, I will avoid her.

This worked well for several girls - except one girl who I ended up really really liking after I got to know her more. By then she was dating someone else - actually, she was engadged to someone else. Really, really pissed that I missed out on that. She's flat out told me that she liked me then, but now she has a kid, so that's that (don't want to mess around with that stuff).

I'm not sure I think these kind of "rules" actually work for women, but I think they work for men even less. I just don't think you can tell.

I agree with the dealbreakers though not sure about the EDM thing, just not my scene.

For me I see the red flags as warning signs. Keep an eye out and if you see a bunch in a row, maybe don't invest so much effort and spin other plates.

A couple that I personally look out for because of personal experience:

Lack of strong father figure
How she treats staff/help/others
Lack of female friends
Strict and overbearing focus on equality in all things
Any kind of sexual abuse
Inability/Unwillingness to cry (This is for LTR.. If you've been with her for six months and never seen her cry, there is probably an issue)

The personal red flag that is at the top of my list is the women that won't listen to you or believe you when you honestly tell them something. Especially if it is over something simple or trivial. To me this suggests that they have already formed the option that men can't be trusted.

Also if they want to argue over minor things even after they state that the decision doesn't matter to them either way.

The best example of this was going to a picnic lunch and I was picking up a case of water. She asked what brand I wanted. I went to grab a pack of the Fiji water because they were square and fit in the cooler much easier. In the ensuing conversation she wants to know why that brand, why is it better, why don't I get a cheaper brand, how it's just water and a 2 dollar premium is just ridiculous. I kept my cool but only after I explained that either I get what I want or I take you home, did she drop the argument. Even then there were several smart ass comments about it through the day.

I would change 'EDM girls' to 'drug culture girls'. I'd say 90% of girls I know that are involved in a drug culture use their gender to constantly get free drugs from beta dealers/friends.

I met a girl a couple weeks ago who attempts to use her drug use as a qualifier to me, which is pathetic. Ironically, I've made it clear that I'm not giving her jack shit for her company and she has give me something for MY company. This was followed by saying I act 'entitled', which was followed by her giving me a free blunt. Oh how easily the roles reverse.

There definitely are women that fit your description but many girls who are into EDM are some of the most down to earth, confident, and genuine women out there. You just have to learn how to spot them. Let the douche rave bros and the shallow rave girls find each other, then look for the real people who are there to enjoy the music come together

Horses are a little more subtle. But sometimes men can take dogs and cats for granted. So I think this fits.

Take girls that take lots of selfies with their dog/cat and treat them just like a Teddy bear for instance. These pets are simply another love tampon for them as they treat them as their own children.

I've got a couple personal red flags, which sucks because the girl I'm seeing has ALL OF THEM. But she's super fucking cool, cute, and fun. Anyway...

1) Lots of guy friends, specifically "good guy friends" especially if she goes out with them for drinks every now and then.
2) Drinks more than once a week or has a local bar nearby that is "her spot" (this girl has already told me about one guy who worked there who she would let stay at her place after work all the time because of how convenient the sex would be.)
3) Works full time and has a successful career currently or lined up for her
4) Many past partners
5) Hooked up with you the first time you met.

I'm dreading the day she asks me why I haven't asked her to be her BF, and I just list these off. Will probably be a mistake in the end. Oh well, on to the next one.
