Sup fellas. I know this isn't an exercise forum, but I also know a lot of y'all are heavy into lifting, so I would appreciate your advice.

Just getting back into working out after a year hiatus. I am fairly familiar with various exercises and feel confident about my form (been working out on an off for over 10 yrs now). My metabolism has always prevailed, and I typically ate relatively clean, so I virtually never gained much in terms of fat. This last year has been the first time I gained fat (about 15 lbs).

My question for you is, what have you found to be the best method for cutting, i.e. striking a balance between cardio and muscle gain exercises?

I am currently optimizing a high protein (1g/1lb body weight), low carb, low fat and low calorie diet and trying to marry that with gains but losing much of the fat I gained within the last year. Thanks.
