Why are women in other countries so more feminine than in the US?

Whenever I'm abroad, I'm amazed at how well-dressed and "soft" women in other countries are. You can spot an American female tourist a mile away with their ill-fitting clothes, beer gut, ugly shoes, lack of makeup, and bad attitudes. Why is that? Is it because they can get away with not trying in the US and still always land a boyfriend?

The problem of women in the Anglosphere is that they are taught to do anything besides become a wife and mother, to REJECT family life during their most attractive, youthful and fertile years, and to waste the flower of their youth working some pointless cubicle job in marketing or HR, drink like men, swing from the chandelier and ride a mile of cock, instead of locking down a husband like they should be doing.

Then, when their ovaries wake up at 28-31 and start sounding alarm bells, they think that it's going to be like when they were 19-22. Now this is not to say that a woman cannot be attractive at 28-31 or even older, but as men, given the choice between two similar women, and one is 21 and the other is 31, most of us are going to take "21" every time because she's going to be lower mileage and (generally) lower maintenance. Why? Because career bitches have "expectations" about what they "deserve" rather than "realism" about not being as desirable as 21 year old women. They have been sold a bunch of careerist shit. "That law degree looks so sexy on you!" - said no man, ever. When a woman complains, "There are no good men left!" what she really means is, "There are no good men available to me, given my increasing expectations and my decreasing attractiveness." IOW, they have hear the sound of, "WALLSPLAT! STATION!!! EVERYBODY OFF!!!"

I feel sorry for them; they are LIED to. And by the time they snap out of it, it's too late to do much about it, whereas a man can improve and at least run "older man" game or even "silver fox" game. Women are born with everything and die with nothing; old age is a woman's hell. Men, on the other hand, are born with nothing but die rich - assuming that they don't smoke/drink/drug themselves out of it.

They never seem to notice that the people giving them shit advice are all unhappy 45 y.o. shrikes with lonely 1BR apartments and cat colonies. They are told that they can "have it all!", and they believe what they want to believe, and about family they think, "I will worry about it later" but it's already later than they think.

The grand irony of it is that you CAN have it all...if you are a man.

So now you know. Get you to the House of Iron and whistle a happy tune, and be happy that you were born male.

and dykes (Ellen) and the fashion/lifestyle people who are miserable career women and gays. For some reason the most insane people are given the biggest platforms to spread their message in the US.

“Ask Hamsters Over 30”? I can only imagine what a train wreck that place would be.

[–]cuteman2 points3 points  (0 children) | Copy

It's bad. Very bad. Everything is you're perfect the way you are, everyone else is wrong, you CAN have it all despite being 40+ and obese.

Can't find a man to have children with in your mid 30s? Don't worry. These two land whales met their soul mates at 50+ and life is so much better without kids.

[–]Imperator_Red2 points3 points  (1 child) | Copy

Holy shit I just browsed that sub briefly... what a train wreck. Why would anyone thing that asking single 35 year old women for life advice makes any sense? It's like asking felons for career advice.

It's a goldmine. Observe and report. Never interfere.

Privet droog! Pure gold.

Let me add:

Men, on the other hand, are born with nothing but die rich - assuming that they don't also MARRY themselves out of it.

Dead on. The bit about taking advice from 45 year old single shrikes who want to drag them down into the crab bucket is especially pernicious, as the shrikes often write the advice columns, the TV shows scripts, and act as "mentors" to them.

One thing I would add is that when they do start to wake up, or rather, when their pre-planned period of hedonism is over, they find it very difficult to change their habits on a dime. Some of them are genuinely clueless and need to be woken up, but others cynically piss away their late teens and twenties partying because they figure they can just start "adulting" when they are close to 30. But then what happens is, they get addicted to all the hedonistic practices and have trouble turning the battleship of habit around. This also goes for the men who play video-games, drink, do drugs, etc. As the Duke of Wellington said (paraphrased) "Habit is Second Nature.")

Unless they have a nice big family of children and grandchildren. I imagine in that case old age is quite rewarding.

I honestly never thought of it like that, very clever!

[–]Kurush5590 points1 point  (1 child) | Copy

This is exactly the thought I try to formulate whenever someone turns up on asktrp lamenting how easy it is for women and how they're given everything.

Fallacy response, because you do want to bang other women — which is analogous to what OP is trying to tell you. There’s shit on both sides of the coin.

No, the comment that I replied to is pure “whataboutism” which I pointed out.

There is a good interview with that Canadian Prof. that so many people have elevated for some odd reason. Sorry, I can't find it right now. But the jist is, the more a society tries and attempts to make everyone equal as far as gender goes, the more that society will move toward gender defined rolls. He uses the examples of women being nurses, men being in construction. In the more egalitarian countries, the percent of men in traditional man jobs and women in traditional women jobs is more pronounced than in America. There are several proven and accepted studies on this.

Summary: The more a society desires undefined gender rolls, the more that society will seek them.

Edit: Sorry I didn't connect the dots. Many countries in Europe have gender neutral laws and such. They are the places I am referencing. So it is the desire for women to be more feminine, not less. Men to be more masculine, not less. Gender neutral laws have had the opposite effect they intended to be.

Edit2: Jordan Peterson interview. I'll try to find it because it's priceless.

Edit3: It isn't the interview i thought it was but and it was again mentioned in a Joe Rogan podcast below, but specifically Joe Rogan #1139 at about the 1:55:00 mark he gets into this discussion. Sorry it took me so long. I'll do better next time.

[–]LordItus5 points6 points  (0 children) | Copy

It's a podcast with joe rogan, #1208 If I'm not mistaken

[–]VSelf472 points3 points  (0 children) | Copy

[–]Mangasbzo73 points4 points  (2 children) | Copy

Yeah I remember that interview. Cant remember why it happens. Such a weird phenomenon. You tell women they can be anything they wsnt - a CEO, a lawyer, a kindergarten teacher, a nurse, etc and for some reason they all opt to be kindergarten teacher or nurse instead of lawyers & CEOs

[–][deleted] 2 points3 points  (1 child) | Copy

Yeah, I don't think he went on to explain why, just that it does. There were 3 other guests on the panel and they were dumbfounded. You could just tell they didn't like what he had to say but facts are facts. I'll keep looking but I found it on one of those RP rabbit hole nights.

[–]0mnipath2 points3 points  (0 children) | Copy

Lolyl yea and I especially like the part where he emphasized that this is not news, it's been a known proven reality for like 30 years in the science community. That's why it is so dumbfounding that so many people are hell bent on espousing lies. Totally brainwashed.

It's called the Scandinavian paradox as Scandinavian countries tend to be the most egalitarian.

R. Su, J. Rounds and P. I. Armstrong, Men and Things, Women and People: A Meta-Analysis of Sex Differences in Interests, Psychological bulletin (2009)

From the abstract:

"The present study suggests that interests may play a critical role in gendered occupational choices and gender disparity in the STEM fields."

G. Stoet, D. C. Geary, The Gender-Equality Paradox in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics Education, Psychological Science (2018).

From the abstract:

"Using an international database on adolescent achievement in science, mathematics, and reading (N = 472,242), we showed that girls performed similarly to or better than boys in science in two of every three countries, and in nearly all countries, more girls appeared capable of college-level STEM study than had enrolled. Paradoxically, the sex differences in the magnitude of relative academic strengths and pursuit of STEM degrees rose with increases in national gender equality."

A. Falk, J. Hermle, Relationship of gender differences in preferences to economic development and gender equality, Science, 2018

" Gender differences in preferences were positively related to economic development and gender equality. This finding suggests that greater availability of and gender-equal access to material and social resources favor the manifestation of gender-differentiated preferences across countries."

Their societies are feminine, in the US it's a feminist society. However, if you were to bring a woman to the US from those other countries, she would adapt and turn into the same type of feminist woman and will want to ride the cock carousel.

[–]aanarchist5 points6 points  (0 children) | Copy

Feminism, capitalism, consumerism. It's considered sexist to call a woman out on retarded behavior, it's considered empowering to treat her body like a garbage disposal.

[–]Auxfite23 points24 points  (2 children) | Copy

Culture switch. American girls higher body count which makes them more masculine. A lot of things are accepted here than other countries.. such as the music women listen to here cardi b & Nicki Minaj they worship whorish idols. You can dress like a prostitute in USA and no one will judge you but overseas

[–]Shredderick420-1 points0 points  (1 child) | Copy

Higher n count = more masculine?

[–]Auxfite1 point2 points  (0 children) | Copy

Yup more dominant

[–]AsianWater 1 points [recovered]  (1 child) | Copy

Cultural differences. I notice US women miles away in my country because of the difference of how we are brought up. This is why when Im implementing RP theories sometimes it backfires as it's too extreme.

[–]Aurora92118 points19 points  (8 children) | Copy

Subjective. There are hot chicks in every country. Tho in US and UK the amount of landwhales is significantly higher due to shitty diet. Recently came back to Europe from Asia and I note an increased amount of phlegmatic lifestyles and landwhaleness. I think the West ss fairly boring anyway and you should go and see the world and fuck chicks from other cultures anyway :)

[–]WeddingCrasher917 points8 points  (6 children) | Copy

So those social madia hotties account for lets say, 10 %?

[–]mineralranch2 points3 points  (2 children) | Copy

More like .1%. Those are professional models. Not too many running around simply because that's an elite set of people.

[–]WeddingCrasher911 point2 points  (1 child) | Copy

As someone not living in the west, i get so misinformed on social media

[–]mineralranch0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy

Everyone does. Social media is a myth.

[–]FKaroundNfindOUT2 points3 points  (0 children) | Copy

So those social madia hotties account for lets say, 10 %?

Heck no! .00001%. Our brains aren't really equipped to understand what over a few thousand things actually are... women you could conceivably want to have sex with are probably around 2 billion. Of those maybe 500 million are online and probably 3 million would take pictures for money. The ones you see in life are probably 100,000 distinct individuals depending on your viewing volume. Still too many to really remember by a long shot.

Availability can easily skew your perception of a reality like this.

[–]Aurora9210 points1 point  (1 child) | Copy

I would say in the West thats 1 percent or less, and that's in big cities! I dont think there's more "super hot chicks" in Asia or South America but the base level of chicks is hotter on average.

I have been cruising on a level where I have 5 regular plates that are in the 6-7 range. Will be focussing on some more rigid dieting to try and open the door to model tier. Honestly I think throughout my life I have encountered exact 2 or 3 model tier chicks who had a personality.

It depends on what you consider attractive, everyone has a niche for some kind of looks, which means you will do better in some countries based on your looks.

I have an australian colleague that traveled around South America(Colombia,Brazil,Peru,Ecuador and Venezuela), and he told me that latin women worship white men.I mean, you can be the typical average white joe, and you will do really good with latin women(even some attractive ones) just because your white. As a matter of fact my australian colleague is blonde, average face,a bit of acné(not a big deal),and not so tall, he still got laid a lot in such countries, especially in Colombia and Peru, just for having blonde hair and blue eyes. As we know white people are just a minority in South America (besides Argentina and Uruguay), so latin women find white men exotic because they normally don't see white men on the streets, and the same happens in some asian countries.

I traveled to some asian countries, and because i asian girls are not my thing, i didn't find the average japanese, korean, malasyan, pinoy, indonesian, etc girls attractive at all.

Because they come from countries with defined gender roles.

I was crashing on a friend's couch last night and he has a girlfriend from eastern Europe. You know what the first thing she did after we came back from the bars and were chilling in the living room talking? She started cleaning his apartment. I couldn't believe my eyes.

Meanwhile American girls are fine with drinking, fucking, and swearing like sailors while living in pigstys of rooms where you can't even see the carpet because of all the dirty clothes on the floor.

Some people on this subreddit definitely overrate foreign women. Trust me they are still hypergamous and still do crazy women shit but at least they actually fucking act like women. Very hard to find in girls from the US who think that because they party, do drugs, and fuck a different guy every weekend they're hot shit.

[–]Opioidus1 point2 points  (0 children) | Copy

My opinion about the why is too long and elaborate to post here, however I will say that in my opinion it has little to do with feminism. The women of my country self identify as feminists almost twice as much as women in America, and from my admittedly limited experience, they are far more educated in the ideology than their American counterparts, however they are inifintely better than American women: none of that u go gurrrl feminism, very little of that hostile serious man hating stuff and no detectable hatred when dealing with men in their daily lives.

[–]Daddeus651 point2 points  (0 children) | Copy

Eastern Europe evolved in a different way than Western Society, due to the soviet union collapse, and the ban on American propaganda etc. They have much more traditional roots, and gender roles are part of that. In my experience, in my travels, the women are still of equal rights, however they form to gender roles much more than American women. They make fun of the idea of "feminism" and love the idea of being a nurturing mother who takes care of the house hold.

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points  (0 children) | Copy

Because they realize they have to actually do so in order to land a guy, especially girls/women from eastern Europe. Those societies are still very much "patriarchical" (thank God).

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
