I occasionally shave my legs (for whatever reason I don't get a ton of hair there)
Shave armpits whenever I notice it's a problem (I bought this "hair reducing" cream or whatever a long time ago and ever since it hasn't been a big issue)
get waxed down there about once every month and a half - this is BY FAR the biggest pain in the ass. OMFG. SO expensive! I pay like, $70 every time, at least!! But my BF prefers that area be cleaned up, and I just don't understand how anyone shaves themselves down there, and by down there I mean...you know...the really tricky parts. Plus, I'm super prone to ingrown hairs and have found shaving leaves a lot of them. If I wasn't such a wimp I'd get laser hair removal, but then again, a consultation also told me once that I'm not a great candidate?
That's actually my biggest complaint & would love advice on how to deal w/ ingrown hairs and resulting dark spots, especially in underarms!
I deal with body hair 100% to conform to the preferences of my partner (and I suppose, at the margins, to be a professional-looking person in society). I just don't have a strong opinion on this and why not make him happy?

In my relationship, we have open discussion. He keeps himself trimmed which is nice.

I used to shave everything below my head for years, including the start of my LTR. My partner opened up and expressed a preference for having hair down there, which I was initially uncomfortable with as I thought it would be ugly/unhygienic/etc. Needless to say that today I am happier, very sexually confident and feel much more like a woman.

I also invested in a wax pot for my underarms - waxing lasts so much longer than shaving and the hairs are more wispy and less prickly when they do come back. It cost around $40 and I consider it a good value purchase.

As for my eyebrows, they are very blonde and fine. I keep them natural, save for monthly tinting and plucking any really stray ones. Although I am lucky to have blonde hairs, it means that I am unable to have laser hair removal which I would have liked for my legs.

I am quite fuzzy all over although I keep it neat, not rogue!

I have considered shaving my arms but feel it's unnecessary. On occassion I've got a Brazilian but the men I have been with didn't care for the surprise. I think this is one of those things like sex in high school where you think everyone is doing it but they're not.

I did have my leg hair lasered off and it really helps with maintenance.

Naturally, I don't grow thick body hair anywhere except for my head (I have thick, dark, Asian hair)... The hair everywhere else on my body is thin and sparse.

Anyway, the idea of shaving grosses me out. I like being smooth. Skincare is something I am extremely passionate about. I moisturize daily and exfoliate regularly. I get Brazilian waxes every 4 - 6 (sometimes 8) weeks and add on my eyebrows, underarms, and cheeks to this appointment whenever I see fit. I also don't like using toilet paper, I prefer baby wipes.

My boyfriend, recently deceased, loved that I took care of myself this way. It was openly discussed mainly through compliments on my skin. However, I have been doing the things listed above since before we were together and will continue to do them because it's MY beauty and hygiene preference.

I have quite a lot of body hair which also tends to be thick. I get bad ingrown hairs a lot too. Here's what I do:

Legs - I take turns, wax them once, shave them 2 times then wax again. This method alongside using a loofah every day in the shower has gotten me rid of most of the ingrown hairs on my legs. I still get some now, but they can be removed easily using a hypodermic needle.

Lady bits - at times I wax or shave it all off, but most of the time, I have my bikini line waxed and everything else neatly trimmed. This is where I get most of my bad ingrown hairs so keeping the hair trimmed has helped the most. However, sometimes I miss feeling hairless down there. I'm lucky in the sense that my partners never expressed a strong opinion in this regards, since I find it very difficult to keep the area completely bald at all times, as this is where I got my thickest hairs.

Happy trail - just pluck one or two rogue hairs, no hair problems here

Underarms - shave it all off in the shower

Arms and forearms - I like my forearms hair-free so I always wax everything off. Don't have much hair above the elbow, but I wax it nonetheless, for continuity.

Facial hair - I wax my upper lip hair and pluck the few rogue hairs I get on the right side of my chin (funny enough, all of the right side of my body is MUCH hairier than the left, lol)

I want to have everything lasered out as well, will probably start the procedures next year, since I've had a few estheticians advise me against trying laser treatment before 27, something to do with the fact that you get your max amount of body hair around 30.

I shave before I see him or once a week. I am fairly hairless, but my pubes are his preference (bald). Everything else is gone. Pits, legs, asshole, I shave And being over 40 I use a hair removal lotion for any peach fuzz facial hair. I pluck my eyebrows once a month.

I tan twice a week for the lines my man likes.

For me it is a non issue. My man simply expects me to be reasonably presentable.

I only shaved my legs & armpits for most of my adult life. I started buzzing my pubic hair and found that seemed more hygienic. I was working in a spa and they needed a "model" for waxing. I had a Brazilian (and since I've been like the company model lol.. everyone there has seen everything of mine). I have since had my eyebrows, upper lip, and chin (again for practicing on). I have since gone to get a full bikini wax which I prefer. Since I got my upper lip waxed I realize how hairy it is and will probably continue to wax it. My husband never mentioned being bothered by me being hairy. But now that I am not so hairy, he said he likes it. He is more concerned for my comfort however and would be ok with me not waxing. I feel a little sexier (and cleaner).

Eyebrows are low maintenance due to overplucking in the 90s, so actually, I have to fill them in a little with a brow pencil.
Legs & armpits shaved every other day in the shower (sometimes I'll get my legs waxed in the summer).
I sugar my own bikini line (NOT brazillian though). It took practice but now I'm pretty good at it, and I keep the rest trimmed with a little trimmer.

Husband doesn't seem to notice or care if I neglect all of these for many months at a time, but other than right after I gave birth, I'm pretty good with keeping neat.

I am blessed with very fine, barely visible leg hairs so I don't have to shave too often.

I shave my underarms regularly and have a short buzzcut in my lady parts. I don't like waxing and shaving it bald gives me in-grown hairs.

My husband has never stated his preferences, I just notice that he's much more <ahem> attentive down there when I'm groomed versus not.

As an aside, I've yet to meet a guy who wasn't a closeted homosexual who genuinely liked or didn't mind hairy armpits and legs on women. Preferences on styling the lady parts vary more considerably.

I really shave almost everything... I have thin and fine hair, but dark-ish and I'm very pale so it looks weird. I don't like the hair removal creams and epilating gives me bruises. I haven't really tried waxing yet. I have an at home IPL and it really works, but right now I'm on blood thinners and the leaflet says you're not supposed to use it if you are on blood thinners...

I got it all lasered away because of the yuck factor, even before we met.

My spouse loves it! I just book an hour of electro every 6 months, mostly for hairs under my eyebrows, and for weird surviving hairs. It costs twice as much but should be definitive in the long run.

I have hair on my head, eyebrows plucked into a thinnish arched shape, and i am totally bare everywhere else. for me its a hygiene preference, and i also like feeling smooth.

Natural undyed hair, plucked eyebrows, lasered my moustache, three chin hairs, armpits, legs and keep my bikini area trimmed. My preference. If SO wants, I'll shave to pornstar bald, but he's never requested.

I've done salon and at home laser hair removal. Anyone interested in it, I highly recommend the Silk'n products.

As a man, I have never told my SO what to do regarding body hair.

However, getting a mouth full of hair is unpleasant. Men tend not to do unpleasant things.
