How do you behave regarding conservative/provocative clothing?

Married 9 years. I think it’s important to dress appropriately for the occasion. If you’re in church covered obviously. “Provocative” is silly. Don’t dress like a sex worker, dress like a woman. Flaunt your curves and assets. I think this can be done tastefully or tacky, it’s all in the presentation. If you’re more modest and prefer to be more covered/conservative then you’re going to have to work harder at looking feminine and not boxy and frumpy.

I think there is a big difference between trashy sexy and classy sexy and most men can tell the difference even if they aren't into fashion or particularly aware of it.

It's the difference between this and this.

I like (and my husband prefers) me to look sexy, especially when we go out together. But that doesn't mean dressing like a Kardashian. You can still show skin and shape without being porny.

True, I would add that color is key here, a strong, clear color is much more youthful and fresh then say a muted or washed out one.

The same is true in reverse, an ensemble that is borderline trashy in strong and clear colors might not be as crass if it was a muted or slightly faded color.

Brown, cream and rose are always tricky, here they are old women colors.

I have been developing my personal style over the past few years. Knowing what my BF enjoys seeing me in has made everything a lot easier.

I have always dressed the 'same' whether single or in a relationship in that I always put myself together. I wear clothes that fit my body and compliment my best features.

My standards are in the home/with SO vs. out of the home. I dress pretty conservatively for the public and think any sexy clothing should be reserved for him. I think if I were single I would save my sexy stuff for after we were in a committed relationship.

I only care about being sexy when I'm with my boyfriend, strangely enough. I'm asexual so seducing had never been something I would do spontaneously.

But even when I'm "sexy" I'm not really provocative, if only because I don't have that much to display. My breasts are small, I have loose skin on my stomach and scars on my legs... What's more we work with university students so I try to set a standard of classiness, of if not conservativeness.

Because of my body shape most things I wear either have to be too big to make sure top and bottom aren’t out there on display but if I’m going out I prefer a more provocative look but I also take into consideration what the person Id be seeing would say/style. I kind of like to mirror that.

I’d hate to be dressed down/conservative and then my date comes dressed to the nines.
