lm a long time lurker. I've been religiously following FDS. I love the concepts and ideas behind FDS.

I thought my boyfriend of 2 years was a HVM. I don't live with him but whenever I go over he always cooks for us, cleans the dishes, makes us lunches, pays everytime we go out to eat, randomly buys small things, showers me with compliments, you get the picture...A supposed HVM.

Last Valentines Day, he tried to break up with me due to some personal reasons. We didn't end up breaking up. So last year, Valentines Day was horrible. I was expecting this year he'd make up for it. And I had told him that last year left a horrible taste in my mouth. Who tries to break up on Valentines Day?!

Didn't out right tell him to make up for it. Was expecting that he would...Was expecting for him to feel bad and go all out this year

This year...Just bought me flowers and a card.....No nice restaurant or anything....No apology for last year.

Am I wrong to be disappointed yet again...Am I expecting too much?

Ladies of FDS, pleased help me out. Is this a LVM in disguise?
