How do I get a dominant man?

I don't have a good answer. Highly dominant men enjoy women all along the spectrum. Some go for the innocent wide-eyed type, a la the Fifty Shades thing. I go for highly dominant and successful women. TRP may be right that accomplishments do not generate attraction, but for me it can certainly kill or increase it. I have zero attraction for women low in the dominance spectrum no matter their looks. My partners are possessions, in a certain context, and I only want the best things in life.

One thing: have your shit together. I mean in every single possible way. Be in absolute control of every aspect of your life. Be at ease with yourself, the universe and your place in it. Healthy dominance starts first with ones own life. Those are also signs to look for in a naturally and healthy, dominant man.

And I suppose it should go without saying, but avoid RP/TRP types.

E: Also no good answer on spotting "fakes." For example, some D men have a calm, masterly approach to life, but some are impatient at the slightest hint of things not going exactly their way, which could also be an indication of immaturity. Ultimately it remains true that if you want a quality man you should be a quality women, and quality people have a good eye for spotting people like themselves.

My husband is pretty dominant. I let him make all the choices and he usually leads in social events etc. other people look up to him and he is the patriarch of our family.

I would say be feminine. Masculinity is attracted to femininity. Another comment mentioned having your shit together which is also a good idea.

I'll also add this caveat, don't be TOO independent or dominant. Women who have all their shit together sometimes make the mistake of needing to control everything and that's how they end up with Betas. They scare off all the dominant men who don't need a woman to tell them what to do.

Be feminine, be able to carry yourself, focus on being a person that adds value to your partners life.

Be patient and selective. You never know who you are dealing with. Just because you meet someone and they rock your world doesnt mean they will in one week or one month or one year. The instinct will be to lust in to a relationship. Relax, take your time and see what person they really are. Find out what activities they are in to and go with them to as many activities as possible. If they work in public go see them work, if they are on a sport team go to training and games, and so on. Go to social events and see how they mingle with people, try to get their interactions with all age and class groups. Then you will know who you are dealing with. There is no one thing you can sniff out that will tell you everything.

If you want a man who is genuinely masculine and dominant, you have to be genuinely feminine and submissive.

Being feminine isn't just wearing skirts and heels and makeup, it's having a feminine demeanor. When you move through the world, how do your mannerisms seem? Would people describe you as elegant, composed, sultry, hospitable, and flirty...or would they say you are confident, aggressive, combative, outspoken, and competitive?

By being a well put together, submissive, feminine female.

Be pretty, and put effort into your appearance no matter where you're going. If you're going to the grocery store, still put on makeup and look presentable.

Don't have emotional baggage or relational hangups. Be genuinely honest with yourself, and don't hold animosity of any kind toward men.

Don't fake anything about yourself. Be genuine, but also be malleable and reasonable.

Overall though, if you're talking about being randomly approached by men, the key is to always look your best. Always be as pretty as you can be.

What are the qualities that those men look for?

Physically attractive (fitness and attire/cosmetics)
Pleasant disposition (no man likes a sourpuss)
Outward femininity (no need to abandon all "masculine" interests like sports/shooting/etc, but it should be easy to call you feminine)
Few sexual partners (self explanatory)
Under 30 (being over 30 isnt a death sentence, but time is no longer on your side by then)

There are more, of course, and not all dominant men desire these, but these are the ones that I can think of that are pretty universal

I can tell you what not to do. Don't advertise seeking a dominant man. If he has to say he's the king, he's not. Find the guy who is strong on the inside and therefore has no need to pose or show off. He might seem humble or shy at first. Still waters run deep.
