Honestly feminism has allowed for the breakdown of gender roles and even encourages men to express their feelings. All the reddit posts about men being "lonely" and not being able to talk to people about their problems - feminism addresses those issues directly. And yet men will vehemently reject feminism. Men don't do shit to advocate for themselves unless it's at the expense of women.

If I had another one of those free awards i'd give it to this. There's so many examples, men not receiving compliments, men not talking about their problems, men not going to the doctors or therapy, men not being able to dress/act feminine, homophobia against gay men ect ect.

Men: um, men are more likely to die in workplace accidents because they have more dangerous work conditions!

Feminists: as it happens, we want better regulations of work places so that companies are held accountable for safety violations. Also we think women who apply for these same jobs, such as mining and construction, shouldn’t be antagonized and harassed to the point that they can’t do their jobs safely and have to quit.
