listen, some people find the “twiggy” build cute, some people think the black hair goth look is cool. This must be from some other meme I don’t recognize (and maybe I am missing context about these characters having LV traits) but like, I’m not loving the implication that losing a “conventionally unattractive” person isn’t really a loss.

I know some extremely HV men who, like most humans, do not look like airbrushed models or sculpted athletes (for example they may have grey hair or slightly crooked teeth or are 5-foot-something or have more than 0% body fat etc.) yet they own property, they are financially stable, they cook (better than me!), they keep their place clean, they take women on thoughtful dates, they think about how to add to/help the women they date (financial support, household repair, helping her prep for interviews or study for exams), they go to therapy, they are physically active, they have an sense of appropriate fashion for various occasions, they have their own friends/passions/hobbies, they engage with social issues & sincerely care about the problems faced by people they don’t personally know, they are very concerned with pleasing their partner during sex, they read & engage with the concepts of emotional labor & the mental load, they plan vacations & surprises for their partners, they take me (their platonic friend) seriously when I tell them that they exhibited a toxic behavior (e.g. they just mansplained something to me) and best of all, they hold other men accountable Their current partners have every right to feel heartbroken if it doesn’t work out with these HV men—none of whom will be gracing a GQ cover anytime soon.

My “conventionally hottest” friend married an equally hot man...who was a textbook LV alcoholic emotionally abusive piece of sht. She shed no tears when she finally filed for divorce a month ago.
