I’m sure this effects women from ALL walks of life. I’ve read many stories of women whose life and financial prospects have been severely altered due to hobosexuals and regular lvms.

Males are so brain damaged from porn they're doing badly in school and can't get degrees. Oh well, we'll just have to cohabit with each other. Bring back multi-generational housing with grandma, aunts, sisters and daughters.

I was just reading this because I know people who think women that don’t want to marry down must be gOlD dIgGers lol. Wanting to marry in your own tax bracket isn’t gold digging, it’s predictable. If you earn a decent salary in a field that requires higher education, you’re probably going to be around others that are also educated and earn a similar salary, and plenty of people date within their environment.

Even if you don’t have these things, some of the poorest of women have had more to offer than the most financially stable men.

This is why, as a black woman, I am so cautious when it comes to dating black men. Many of them are no where near my level in education or finance.

I will never date another man with less education/lower income ever again. My current boyfriend makes more than me and is smart and well-educated (without being arrogant/obnoxious about it).

It is a world of difference to be with a man like this, rather than losers who are insecure about and offended by your accomplishments

this is exactly why I refuse to date anyone who makes significantly less than me and it pisses me off when people suggest it. id rather be single forever because unlike men who need a women to fulfill their needs women don't need a man. like it's not about money or being shallow lol but the reason I worked so hard to earn six figures ans went to grad school is to maintain a lifestyle. a guy doesn't have to make more than me, can even make slightly less, but he should at least very able to keep up with my lifestyle on his own. and i don't even like dating guys who make significantly more either because then they just are looking for a trophy wife and I also don't want that lifestyle. no amount of "love" or "being treated right" which is the argument people use to try and shame you into dating down (and is the bare minimum for any relationship anyways) will add to my life enough to make up for me downgrading my entire standard of living. the point of being in a relationship is to add to your life not detract from it.

also notice how men like George Clooney are always praised for wanting to date their equal but women get shamed for it?
