While I understand their sentiment, I don't think you should do it. What are you going to gain out of it? It just seems like a waste of time in my opinion. I'd say just decline his request or block him if you want and then move on with your life

Block him. Not just because it’s the best thing to do mentally, and emotionally, as a stable person who has moved on, but also think about the worst case scenarios? He starts saving your pictures, he starts tracking your hangout spots based on photos you post, he figures out who you are following that you are close to and starts contacting them. It’s just not worth it, and people who have an appropriate amount of self worth, love, and kindness in their life do not seek to embarrass others. Whatever his intentions are, they can’t be good for you, and that’s all that matters. Don’t stoop to someone’s level or try to hurt them when the horse is dead, just move on and rise higher.

Hi lol! My first - LVM - bf wouldn't commit to me and said the same thing, so I broke up with him. I thank him silently everyday for not committing, he was so out below my league that my friends and family actually celebrated.

Anyways, ignore him. He adds zero value to your life and is probably going to be a taker. once a taker, always a damn taker.

I didn't block because I never unfriended him, but I basically ignored all his messages to take him back and only responded when I needed something from him.
