Interesting how such men don’t like marriage now that women have autonomy. When marriage meant owning your wife like a piece of property, when it meant she couldn’t leave you for anything lest she become homeless, when it meant you could legally rape her men were perfectly happy to get married. They consider these times the “good ol days” of marriage that need to be restored.

But now that women are respected as human beings in marriage laws it’s a problem. And before anyone says marriage benefits women over men show me where in the legal marriage contract that it says a man has to earn more than his wife or provide for her?? Because last I checked that is not required in a marriage. Assets are evenly split in divorce, alimony can be paid by man or woman, etc… you providing in a marriage is your choice and moreso a matter of cultural expectations not a legal obligation. Also on the flip side women still do most if the housework and childcare. Again it’s cultural expectations.

So what men are upset about is not “unfair laws” but like I said the fact that they can no longer own women as property and that marriage doesn’t fully benefit them at women’s expense. Imagine being that entitled and claiming women are the problem?
