Just wanted to get your reaction to this message from my ex regarding support.

Quick back story. I was recently made aware through her lawyer and her that she has been receiving a monthly inheritance of 2500 a months for the last 24 months and 6 months of that time we were not legally divorced. They however will not confirm it is a inheritance that they did not disclose during discovery.

I am in sales and have been taken back to court for 6 modifications, that have been useless as per my divorce decree is written I provide quarterly pay stubs, so I am always accused of hiding something. However during these modifications she continues to refuse to find work do to covid, and claims no income outside of the additional alimony of 3k per month and 2200 for two children I provide support for. She admits to be receiving 7700 per month tax free and refuse to account the additional as income in terms of child support.

We appealed are last support conference and now will be having a complex master review and make final judgment. If they find in her favor she will continue to count no income and will continue to recieve 6700 per month as I had to take a decrease in salary do to the company economics and I will have a monthly take home around 1200 which I find ridiculous as that is why I just filled my appeal on that she needs to either accept and earned income or count the 2500 per month she is receiving.

She wrote me this and I wanted to just see what your initial reaction is to this comment.

"I am disappointed that we could not come to an agreement, I have always said that I just expect you to pay whatever your supposed to pay, and not a dollar more or less."

This comment bothers me as I have no issue paying whatever the amount is determined, my issue is the amount is based on her not being honest with what she is receiving and refusing to make any effort to financial contribute to the family pot by claiming zero.
