I don't get why this narrative has been getting pushed out to the female youth lately. Yes, we're young, but that doesn't mean spending our youth sleeping with randoms and using men for money. There's nothing wrong with hypergamy and women going with a lot of men, but is that really the message we want to put out?
How about "You're young, stop trying to be a wife and go start your career" and "graduate sis"? I don't want my little sister thinking going out, getting drunk, using randoms credit cards, and getting passed around is the best way to spend her youth. If you like that, do you, but don't influence young ones into doing that.
PS: yes, men are like this too and we all know that, but as a girl I'm speaking to other girls because this is my issue. What men preach isn't my issue. If your argument is "men do it too" then I really don't care.
Edit: some people are mistaking hypergamy with polygamy. Hypergamy is dating up/richer. Gold digging if you will

I just stand on this line, speak your mind. Even if it’s utterly horrible, it always is met with a response in kind.
It’s fine to get yelled out of a room, that’s how you knew you were speaking nonsense. This silencing crap, it’s just useless. Let people speak, let them be responded to in kind, and let people handle themselves!
If things are done in Dms, that’s another matter, but silencing free form!? That’s just so fascist I can’t believe it spawned in the “modern” west.

UnpopularOpinion is just a monumentally retarded sub at this point, I despise reddit. I appreciate the balls it takes for somebody to bring this up though because they're right. All those people playing dumb on the subject piss me off.
This is something I've been talking about for years now and FemaleDatingStrategy young women especially but women in general are being given horrible dating and relationship advice about men by feminists. They're encouraging them to treat men like shit and disposable bank accounts and then they wonder why men leave them and they're single in their late 20's and 30's.
It really is not actually that hard to keep a man unless you have some seriously bad luck which I can sympathise with or there just isn't really that much attraction there. The best thing a woman can do is just do the opposite of what feminists tell them lol.
[–][deleted] 27 points28 points29 points (16 children) | Copy Link
Does it take balls though to post something on a computer screen? People are more willing to be crude online than they are IRL due to anonymity.

I've had all kinds of people trying to start shit with me in PMs on reddit. Doesn't happen that often thankfully and it's always exactly who you'd expect so yeah I'd say so. The backlash RL would probably be way worse depending on what social circles you hang out.

Well this what happens when you create a society insulated from proper consequences. Time for the back in my day, when things said nowadays were even uttered to a person- it didn’t end in a stupid question: “you mad bro”.
We didn’t say something so utterly enraging because you knew someone was mad when they attacked you! I don’t care if it’s pSuedoMascuLine, these children need asswhoopings! AND NOT FROM ME BUT THEIR PEERS! Boys need to fight! They need to engage in conflict so that they can learn how to deal with men!
Men argue! Men debate! And if god dam necessary MEN FIGHT! It is our nature and I’m sick of this stupid society that represses our base instincts! I’m not saying I want to go around Tyler Drugen style but I want a society of men free to solve disputes with their fists or at least the clear fucking understanding that conduct must be observed out of the respect of physical lines!

I feel better thanks.
[–][deleted] 4 points5 points6 points (6 children) | Copy Link
I feel you man. It's about standing up for oneself and labelling that as bad isn't healthy. Humans learn very well by making mistakes and learning from them. And when men fight, their problems are usually resolved at the end of the fight. I'm not going to start a fight but if you take a swing at me you just invited yourself to an ass whooping. Unfortunately we'd both get in trouble for fighting and the aggressor wouldn't be punished for being rude in the first place.
[–]gamessuck00 2 points3 points4 points (5 children) | Copy Link
You know I think it’s this new wave approach. I’m old enough to be fortunate enough to have boxing gyms open around my city growing up. As a young man full of piss and rage I trained in karate (loved my sensei), Jeet Kune do (wasn’t a fan but very effective of course), and lastly boxing!
I never took it seriously enough to do golden gloves, and even still I had people ready to teach me and other young men as angry as I was. I look back at those times through the eyes of a young man now, I would have been in hell growing up today. Where would my rage go? Into a gun, a gang?
It’s not just the fighting that is important, where there are boys looking to fight there are men willing to teach them how not to fight but to defend yourself and to develop courage! It tears me up thinking about the men I met in these houses of combat, great and kind men who understood my anger and humanized it! Any feeling that could overwhelm me; fear, anger, insecurity... they were all met by men who were ready to teach me how to conquer them!
Yes we have sports, but sometimes that is not enough. I hear nowadays it’s more of the mma stuff so I guess that’s good. But I still feel there is an incredible stigma placed on men who want to train and fight. I see less dojo’s and boxing centers these days, and I don’t see them filled with MMA training places, and even those MMA faculties double as cross fit training.
It’s something to seriously consider as we try an redefine our legal system, why not provide a place for people to handle things themselves hand to hand. Hell train them if need be, from my experience you learn to temper the fire by being forged in it.
Oh boy, I’m rambling now 🙏
[–][deleted] 4 points5 points6 points (4 children) | Copy Link
My first thought for wanting to fight would be the army but that's a time commitment. It's not an entirely bad option because it escapes today's world and introduces you to another one. There are still internal issues that you hear about occasionally but it seems like a safe option to protect yourself from doing something stupid that ruins your life like punching someone into a hospital bed.
Alternatively, working out and training yourself to let go of anger and instead remain calm as worked really well for me. Instead of getting angry at stupid people, I recognize them for what they are. It still hurts in the moment though.
Related rant:
I had an ex a month into our relationship when our affections were dwindling come out as a leftist and label be all sorts of shit. We'd agreed on something before and I held out hope that we could have a productive conversation, but that didn't happen. What hurt the most was the betrayal of my trust and how I made excuses for what she'd said to me before that was harmful instead of recognizing them for the red flags they were. She got a temporary restraining order against me based on things I did not do (and that's not illegal to lie on an HRO) and has tried to get me arrested if she sees me in a public space even though there's no required distance I must stay away from her. On the night of our breakup she grabbed my arm, blocked me from getting into my car and ended my 911 call. She won't face justice for that until the end of the year and in the meantime I have to do everything I can to avoid her to prevent conflict. And I'm still waiting on a hearing date to contest that restraining order so she can't throw me in jail.

[–][deleted] 2 points3 points4 points (4 children) | Copy Link
That's the trouble with beliefs. People will do everything they can to protect them and need little evidence to substantiate it.
Reddit is fairly anonymous that you can post whatever you want and people wouldn't be able to tell who you are. Post it on Facebook or Instagram where there's a picture of your face... THAT'S brave as people you know will try to put you down.

why call women hoes in the first place ?? stay out of women’s business
[–]rbecker260 5 points6 points7 points (12 children) | Copy Link
Well I say that because the more of a radical feminist the more of reputation you have of being a whore USSALLY and I don’t like it when women say there being treated like objects because they got shit like the fat acceptance movement. When they get rejected men don’t say oh your to ugly mean while when men get rejected women will sometimes out right say your to short. You want to tell us to stay out of women’s business mean while you guys have legalized rape in India and domestic violence in the UK against men. I know that was a bad take calling them hoes but the first sentence is my point
[–]bootiesocks 0 points1 point2 points (11 children) | Copy Link
when women say they get treated like objects, its because many women have experienced catcalling and rating systems or have friends who have experienced those, while men do not have those same experiences. i don’t understand the correlation between the body positivity movement and calling women objects though? Also, when men get rejected (obviously not all men) they most definitely insult the women and get their friends to do it too. you can’t say women shame men for being short (which many of them do, wrongly) but not acknowledge that women experience it? which btw is so irrelevant to me saying women aren’t objects
[–]SparrowFate 7 points8 points9 points (7 children) | Copy Link
Lmao you're either a bad troll or ignorant. Men get catcalled. Men get "rated". Women freak out on men when they get rejected. Women absolutely shame men for being short. Grow up and get some perspective. I'm not promoting calling women or men whores. But you're spouting bullshit.
Edit: came out the gate on fire. Just tired of people thinking men don't face the same things. If I get cat called (and I have been) and call it out or say anything about it besides "thank you" I get called a bitch. If a woman does it they're brave. I think the numbers are probably closer than people think. The trick is that men won't ever defend themselves because we can't. Was I harsh? Yes. But also I stick by what I said from a factual basis.
[+]AslashSslashL1 points [recovered] (1 child) | Copy Link
Yes, men DO face all of these matters too!! I am a woman on this page because I truly want society as a whole to do more for men and have more compassion for them too. But my dear you can’t fight fire with fire. Treat others how you want to be treated and not hate.
[–]SparrowFate 2 points3 points4 points (0 children) | Copy Link
Ya I agree. I came out the gate too hot. She was using absolutes and that made me pretty pissed. She put a blanket statement on almost every one of her points. If you'd like you could read my edit. [–]bootiesocks 1 point2 points3 points (4 children) | Copy Link
ofc they do, but women have those experiences proportionately more and you can’t disagree with that? you can’t say grow up and then get this mad at a comment saying you shouldn’t call women hoes lmfao
[+]SweatyAdvance1 points [recovered] (3 children) | Copy Link
This is what you said:
" men do not have those same experience"
Immediately followed by:
"you can’t say women shame men for being short (which many of them do, wrongly) but not acknowledge that women experience it?"
You just completely dismissed the fact that men experience it. Completely dismissed it.
Hypocrite.
[–]bootiesocks -1 points0 points1 point (2 children) | Copy Link
i said men don’t have the same experience of being cat called and rating systems, and for the next part I’m literally acknowledging that men get called short? I never dismissed it, if anything you are the one dismissing that women get unproportionately shamed for things they can’t control. (Men do TOO but the fact you’re focusing on such a minority rather than the majority of women that have experienced this for years says something) this whole subreddit is a joke
[+]SweatyAdvance1 points [recovered] (1 child) | Copy Link
"men do not have the same experiences" is LITERALLY dismissing it. Men get cat called and put on "rating systems" too.
Bye now.
[–]bootiesocks -1 points0 points1 point (0 children) | Copy Link
notice how when the fact that men have such suicidal rates feminists don’t go “women kill themselves too!” it’s called basic empathy. just because im talking about a woman’s issue doesn’t mean it doesnt happen to men too,, let me ask you this, do you actually care about men’s issues? How trans men are treated inequally, how gay men are ridiculed by other men, how black men are disproportionately murdered in the hands of police? or only you?
[–]rbecker260 0 points1 point2 points (2 children) | Copy Link
Ok so my point is I’m not calling women objects I’m just saying if you are a hoe then don’t be surprised if people call you one and catcalling isn’t that trendy and if men do get sexually harassed the police nor the media say anything. The fat acceptance is a toxic movement which encourages over weight eat themselves to death. people see you guys have support groups. Meanwhile men have nothing and say we treat you like objects mine boggles me.
[–]bootiesocks 0 points1 point2 points (1 child) | Copy Link
you say you don’t call women objects and then say don’t be surprised if they get called one in the next sentence? you’re contradicting yourself too much. the body positivity thing is not to praise over weightness it’s just to help women be confident in their own bodies and I don’t see any issue with that? if you really cared about men’s issues, youd know that the only people that actually care and bring awareness to these men’s issues are feminists. You only claim to support these men’s issues when you’re trying to silence women’s issues
[–]rbecker260 0 points1 point2 points (0 children) | Copy Link
Ok let’s both be honest this is stupid listen you have your opinion I have my opinion I’m just saying I’m not calling all women objects in that statement it’s more of a joke. This ain’t a popular opinion here, but I don’t have a problem with hypergamy. I don’t think a pussy “can be used up.”
I do have a problem with cheaters, but that’s not necessarily equivalent to hypergamy. Whenever hypergamy is mentioned that guy doesn’t wonder about the dudes lined up at her door—they’re being just as slutty.
[–]Aidanh999 45 points46 points47 points (0 children) | Copy Link
Hypergamy isnt lots of sex it is using sex to climb the class ladder. Probably most of the time using sex for money or gifts. Gold digging.
[–]windkirby 13 points14 points15 points (0 children) | Copy Link
As others have noted, hypergamy sounds like promiscuity, but it actually means marrying for money/class.
[–]McFeely_Smackup 20 points21 points22 points (0 children) | Copy Link
hypergamy doesn't have anything to do with sex.
[–]1MightBeAPenguin 8 points9 points10 points (7 children) | Copy Link

[–]TheSnowglobeFromHell 2 points3 points4 points (6 children) | Copy Link
I want to add to that: It's not really about her pussy, it's about her brain. After a certain point she isn't really going pairbond much anymore, and chances are that she is probably never going to love you as much as one of her 10+ exes or 100+ fuck boys. She will always be comparing you to the other guys and remembering all the ones that were better than you. Fundamentally, you will not be the one she really wants, but the one she settled for.
[–]f__ckyourhappiness -2 points-1 points0 points (5 children) | Copy Link
I'm confused. Are people not supposed to enjoy sex, or are they supposed to be happy with sub-par sex?
Sounds a lot like incel virtue signaling. Like "I DON'T WANT HER TO KNOW WHAT GOOD SEX IS SO I DON'T HAVE TO DO ANYTHING TO KEEP HER!", or something.
[–]TheSnowglobeFromHell 0 points1 point2 points (4 children) | Copy Link
Username checks out...
It's not just about sex. It's about the entire relationship. People care a lot about being truly loved and desired as someone that is special by their romantic partners. This kind specialness and love is simply not going to arise at all in someone that is already jaded from going trough countless relationships before. No one wants to be an insignificant notch among 100 others that doesn't really mean anything special to the other person.
Also, sex is done between two people and both people are supposed to feel pleasure. Unlike gynocentric culture would have one believe, it's not like it's a guy's "job" to please the woman; both are actually supposed to share on pleasure together, and it's just as possible for a woman not to please a man as the reverse, and the chances of a guy having frustrating sex is much higher if he is doing it with a jaded woman who doesn't care about her current partner because she "has had better before and thinks she is entitled to more".
What the hell are you even doing in this sub? You sound like one of those entitled "modern" college women who thinks that society owns them a 2 meters tall boyfriend with a monster cock who will stay with them without concern for their past as raging sluts.
[–]f__ckyourhappiness -2 points-1 points0 points (1 child) | Copy Link
I see, so it truly is an incel viewpoint then.
I DEMAND AN UNSULLIED VIRGIN!
lol I come to this sub for the progressive views on men's rights and equality for men, but it's interesting how often the conversation devolves into sad little mgtows and incels crying about their archaic hypertraditionalism not being accepted by the progressive culture working towards the advancement of men's rights.
[–]1MightBeAPenguin 2 points3 points4 points (0 children) | Copy Link
No it isn't. Have you every thought to yourself that maybe, just maybe, people have different values? Some people want to save sex until marriage, and that's okay. Other people don't want to be with someone who's hooked up with hundreds of people, men and women.
The commenter you replied to didn't demand a virgin in any way, and only explained why exactly some people won't want to be with someone who has a lot of sexual experience. You're falsely presenting a perspective that the commenter in question didn't have.
As for calling someone an incel for not wanting to be with a woman who has a high body count... That's not incel-like in any way. Almost nobody would find a high body count appealing, because frankly it isn't.
It never devolved into incel discussion in any way... Someone is simply explaining a perspective, and you're out here to point fingers and call names...

The issue that I have is that wealth and appearance should not be the only criteria. Also, have you seen how women rate more than 75% of men as “below average”, while men rating women has a normally distributed bell curve? Exactly this. Independent and in a good career, should be the standard for attractiveness. Regardless of the sex of the individual. This would encourage young men & women seek out their future careers, while also helping older men & women find romance. We already do this to men; a single man in his forties with a lucrative career stands a good chance of finding a partner. But beauty is fleeting. A single woman in her forties who spent the last twenty years gold-digging better have saved her pennies. If she doesn't bother with pursuing a career, she will find herself waiting on tables for minimum wage in her middle age.
[–]BCRE8TVE 4 points5 points6 points (4 children) | Copy Link
I mean, that's good, but people by and large can't help by be attracted to what is attractive to them, and that's in large part out of their control. Men seem to be more attracted to youth, beauty, and markers of fertility. Second to that is a compatible and interesting personality. Least relevant most of the time is a good career.
For women, their partner being taller, self-confident, and being financially stable are significantly higher on the list of priorities.
If you say "women are doing this so that's what men should be attracted to" and blame men when they fail to be attracted to the things people tell them they should be attracted to, that's not going to work well.
I agree with you on trying to change the standards, but I think I'd put finding a compatible person, in terms of personality, needs, and life goals, is more applicable than specifically "find someone with a good career".
Well yes, because a lucrative career is attractive to women. A rich man will typically have little problem dating a younger and more beautiful woman, even if she's a waitress. The reverse doesn't really happen though. Some studies have found that women tend to go for partners who make around 50% more than they do. That's just plain not true for men.
Yep, this is what red-pillers call 'the Wall'. When beauty runs out, you better have a backup plan, because men are interested mostly in youth, beauty, and fertility. When that runs out for women, so does the attention from most random men with no romantic ties.

[–]BCRE8TVE 1 point2 points3 points (2 children) | Copy Link

[–]bootiesocks -2 points-1 points0 points (1 child) | Copy Link

You’re putting words in my mouth I never said. Let the hoes be hoes. People will ultimately do whatever they want.
When a man eventually chooses to settle down, which is a terrible idea nowadays, the likelihood of a long term relationship with a promiscuous woman is nil.
You’re argument is flawed because you keep saying I’m talking about someone’s specific number of partners.

I think you confused this sub with a social conservative subreddit, I don't care who sleeps with who, or how many.

You should, because when a woman gets knocked up by Chad and he leaves her, as a taxpayer you get to finance her lifestyle (welfare, WIC, food stamps, subsidized/free child care, child tax credits, earned income credits, etc.).

Don’t forget marrying her and raising another mans children.

You have confused me with a conservative, I'm not. Don't get me wrong, the situation is far from ideal, but I have far more important things to do them try and manipulate a woman's vagina with shame. As an MRA I'm more interested in seeing an end to poverty, fair funding for men's healthcare and health research, DV shelters for men, an end to mutiliation of boys, an end to military slavery globally, protection of due procese rights and free speech.
If we need someone who gets the vapors everytime a woman gets laid outside of marriage or who thinks low taxes and blind deregulation of corporations magically fixes everything, I shall leave that to you. Personally the low taxes, drown the government in the bathtub is the gun powder that rightwing Libertarians and Neoliberals laid out in huge piles, that the corona virus ignited. No thank you.

So you're saying you're a conservative. Because most of what you mentioned there will get you absolutely laughed out of progressive circles.
Due process and free speech are considered so conservative as to be "Nazi" ideals by the mainstream left.

I had an "entanglement" with one girl (she def had other plates) who literally robbed me for $400. She knew where I kept my rainy day stash. She had an opiate problem that I didn't realize was as bad as it was. This was 5 or so years ago and I hear she's married now to an architect with a second child on the way. Still taking pills, too, from what I hear and somehow keeps it from her husband.

Wait, what? Is someone preaching "You're young, stop trying to be a wife and go be a hoe" Who, exactly is preaching this?

To be honest, if I am a woman, I would sleep around and go to onlyfans, selling bathtub, food leftover saliva and toilet water after I pee for money. Men have become so stupid and so easy to rip off these days. Such an easy way to earn loads of money. Shall things go slightly wrong, all I have to do is accuse them of sexual misconduct and that man will be cancelled, why go the traditional route for women few decades ago, it’s not even rewarding anymore.

Still gotta be reasonably attractive (not fat).

70 years ago, this would not have been an 'unpopular opinion. It would have been the mainstream opinion. Sad times we live in.

Yeah, that's a road-map to becoming a cat-lady in my opinion.

It's an interesting social issue but women's behavior is not a concern for the MRM until it violates men's rights.

This is a really silly post. A girl having two or three partners consistent your boyfriend is a lot different than a girl that was getting gangbanged by the football team or frat row.
