I was talking to a female family member today about feminism and gender issues. I kept quiet mostly as I don't want to paint a target on my back. But one thing she said got to me.

She thinks men getting screwed in custody battles is mens fault as most of the judges are male, the laws were written by men and it's because of the patriarchy (caused by men) that women are seen as primary care givers and often get sole custody.

How do we refute this talking point?
