Comparing feminist theory to factual science and math.

And, from the same feminist, although they all pretty much do the same thing, continually viewing the actions of men as solely derived from their contempt of women.

Example:

Me: "Men fought and died in wars so that women wouldn't have to because they loved and honored them. In order to voluntarily die for a person, you have to view them as having more worth than yourself."

Them: "OMG, men fought in wars because they thought women were dumb and weak and they treated them like objects and there's no other possible explanation!!!!!11111!!!" (sticks fingers in ears)

A specific one that immediately comes to mind is the response I got when I noted the preponderance of women's only spaces in many countries.

(Part of) my comment:

"Many countries (Egypt, Brazil, Mexico, Japan, UAE, India, Indonesia, Iran, Malaysia, Taiwan, Germany, and the UK) have women-only passenger cars.

There are countless numbers of women-only parking spaces.

There are women-only banks in Saudi Arabia and Iran.

Lebanon has women-only beaches."

So what was this response?

"I think that your examples show segregation and not sexism towards men [...] There are women-only passenger cars, but there are passenger cars which can be "used" by a man, there are women-only parking spaces, but there are parking spaces which again, can be used by a man, same can be said about banks and beaches - that's segregation not sexism"

This is one of the worst arguments I have ever come across because this person apparently has never considered the idea that segregation CAN BE SEXISM. The idea that simply because there are parking spaces or passenger cars which can be used by men means that women-only spaces aren't sexism is a terrible argument. There are hardly any equivalent "men-only spaces". If there are only "women's spaces" and "gender neutral spaces" this arrangement makes far more services and conveniences available to women that are not available to men, solely on the basis of sex. It is both segregation and sexism.

Let's apply this same argument to a different context, shall we?

"Keeping blacks in the back of the bus was segregation not racism because blacks were still allowed to take the bus."

"Having different drinking fountains for blacks and whites was segregation not racism because there were still drinking fountains that could be used by black people."

Pretty sure the sheer utter ridiculousness of this argument shines through when applied in this context. Argumentum ad absurdum is a powerful tool.

The funniest thing I hear feminists say is this by far:

'If you are used to privilege, equality seems like oppression.'

I can't wait for the moment they figure out that this is not only true, but describes them perfectly.

How they'll call anyone who supports men's rights or masculinity an "incel", even if it's completely irrelevant to the current discussion. It's their go-to for shutting down debate and riling up support, and I'm seeing it more and more lately.

Air-conditioning in offices is sexist because it "makes the inside cooler than the outside". And the poor women have to dress appropriately, and can't mince around the office in sandals and summer frocks.. :'(

The argument that IQ is irrelevant because it favors white men.

My all time favorite feminist statement is that women mature faster than boys and the subsequent arguments that feminists use that point to make. Women mature, in a purely physical sense, faster than men whereas men mature emotionally between 25-30 women dont start acting like responsible adults (for the most part) until 30-35. This misrepresentation and selective defining of "maturity" has been being used and taught for as long as I can remember and most likely several decades prior to that. In an emotional sense, most women will never mature to the same level as a man.

What do you mean by awful, exactly? Awful as in terrible or awful as in they have a sucky argument,

Two things come to mind.

That we live in a rape culture. Really, if we did why would there he awareness for rape, defense classes/tips on how to defend yourself, etc. If we were really living like that wouldn't all the evil white men want us to be defenseless? And I don't think there would he any punishment for it either

Dress codes are sexist. I'm so tired of hearing it. Dress codes are for a reason. And yes, they can he distracting depending what you're wearing. Do some schools go too far? Sure, probably. But most dont. I've seen this on articles about girls getting coded or standing up to the dress codes and oh man if the person was a male they'll make comments like "he shouldn't be teaching if he's noticing a girls __". It's so dumb.
