Don't post pics on a rating site. Don't. That's coming from a place of low self-confidence and fear, even if you think it's out of curiousity or will help you 'calibrate' what your expectations of a man's qualities should be in comparison to your own.

And men like to use those kind of sites to either insult women from a safe space (ironic right) or the same old 'tell her what I think she wants to hear' type guys, who think they could possibly meet a gf/lover off reddit.

Ugh. This post makes my intestines twist like a pretzel...

1) Sexual value isn't your only value unless you only want sex.

2) While sex is the fire that keeps the home (relationships) warm, your RMV is more important to a marriage minded man.

3) I personally would not want to date a woman with a face-lift. It's fakery to me and is not the same as makeup. I know this is a deal breaker for many other men. You may be able to hide it at first, but it will come out so please don't hide it.

4) People see a combination of what you present and what they are looking for. It's more about the attitudes you exude than your physical beauty.

you already hit the wall. easily 90% of women hit the wall at 30. some get there earlier with excess drugs, alcohol, late night partying, tattoos, rough sex. virtually all women hit it by 32, and all women definitely hit it by 35. much of the wall is evolutionary biology's method of using your hormones to signal your falling fertility to the world outside your body.

claiming you haven't hit the wall is like saying you're a medical anomaly and scientists should be studying your genes.

if you post selfies, make sure they show your full upper arms, unclothed, in a straight on angle. no filters. standard bikini shot is ideal. especially for post-wall women, the "done up" number is usually very different from the true number. plenty of post-wall women use a body sock, push-up bra, makeup, and heels, and then when that stuff is off, they're actually 3s or 4s.

My mom's friend is in her mid 50's. She never wanted kids so she doesn't have any. She's not classically beautiful: She has a large Mediterranean nose, short hair, narrow hips, BUT she gets great guys anyway. She has a heart of gold, a great laugh, fun personality and she's a mean cook. I read somewhere else on this subreddit that just because you are a rpw doesn't mean you're looking for a rpm. Don't read TRP, it will just bring you down. Most of the guys on there are still in some angry faze.

Just because you're 38, which isn't old anyway, doesn't mean you can't find love. Ridiculous. You're just feeling insecure. Don't let people rate you. That's just degrading. You aren't a show dog. But I would say rmv is most important at this stage in life. If you're looking for something long-term from guys your age they've most likely already had that hot but crazy-bitch girlfriend. Any guy not looking for a 20 something piece of ass is looking for companionship. Looks and sex still matter but at 38 you should have much more to offer.

Facelift!? Good for you. I believe in maintaining what you have. Just don't make it obvious. Men says they don't want a fake woman (maintenance doesn't turn you in to a fake person smh) but the majority fall for them anyway. You have to like the way you look.

The only way to know real SMV is to try to see what is possible to get. What's attractive will vary in different parts of the world anyway. I also think it varies between cities even. (Try in a way one will not regret, that is, don't have sex too early)

Listening to opinions about your looks online can either lead to depression and not trying, or getting an inflated ego and trying the wrong way or waiting too long. The best thing is to try with an open mind, gather info, analyse info, and try again if needed. Make self improvements in between tries based on what you notice. Make self improvements based on for example tips on this forum anyway.

Rough and tough but men your age are already well established so you either have to aim way down your age range (and find a guy with a fetish for MILFs) or go way up and find someone in his 50s-50s.

Or you need to review exactly what you want in a men for him to be attractive to you, then aim to have as much to offer as what you seek from a man. There are great men in your age range who are more on the beta side but can still be great lovers, husbands and fathers. Many "beta" are actually men who have believed for too long there shouldn't be a leader in the relationship, and just need the right woman to be allowed to grow in a new type of relationship dynamic.

And I didn't answer your question because it's not relevant. You need to love yourself and work on yourself so you are the best you can be, regardless of what other people think. Getting people to rate you only on your looks means you only have the looks to offer. Stay clear of expensive treatments to look younger - nails, extensions and light makeup is OK. Anything other than that is not only clearly plastic as it also is unnatractive as it suggest an high maintenance cost.

I know many people are saying not to post on sites to determine SMV, but I'd be a hypocrite if I said this because I recently did just that out of perverse curiosity and posted on hot or not.

To get an accurate number, give it a.few days and make sure you have a couple body shots (at least butt up). I forgot a body shot at first, and once I loaded one my rating shot up a point. Your body is a big part of your SMV and you can't get an accurate rating without it.

Don't forget what other users said though. RMV is just as important if no more to having a good relationship, so while it's good to know your SMV, I'd recommend taking down your profile and focusing on self improvement once you get a number.

About .. Two weeks ago, I think, someone posted a chart in regards to what age group men friend attractive vs what age group women find attractive. Short version men of all ages 20s-60s find 20something females attractive whereas females generally find males nearer there age attractive.

Personally, male in my late 30s, I find an hourglass figure attractive, and rely on a conversation about who they were in high school to determine their SMV.

I think you'll truly know when you meet an alpha type man. If he responds positively to you, you're attractive (for your age).
