I rejected a woman's advances outside a club a few years back, and she immediately flipped out and started swinging at me. It was lucky she missed every shot, and friends got in between us because even back then I had no qualms in swinging back. This shit happens. Women cannot take rejection.

I hear people, usually feminists, say things like "women are afraid of a man murdering (or raping or otherwise assaulting) her if she rejects him; men don't have to fear that with women", along with "men's worst fear is being laughed at by women; women's worst fear is being attacked / raped / murdered by men"

Basically the typical downplaying the threat of female violence, over-magnifying that of male violence, trying to make violence into a women's issues, etc. I say "another" because a similar thing happened earlier this month

It's only the stupid ones that get violent. Typically, they just falsely accuse you, which has the additional benefits (for them) of fucking up your life much more permanently, getting all the status of being your "love interest" without any of the responsibilities, and - if they play their cards right - making you essentially their prisoner for life. And there's practically now downside, since the legal repercussions are far smaller than actually being violent.
