Thousands of dads are left in shock as DIY paternity tests soar. Up to 30,000 tests are being performed every year, says Alphabiolabs. In the UK about 750,000 babies are born every year. Feminists want the test to be illegal without the written consent of the mother.

Bitching about psychos is a waste of time we all know they exist. What needs doing is desperate sex education were we teach boys how to protect themselves. Treat em all like nut jobs after your lucky charms.

Treat em all like nut jobs after your lucky charms.

This is a great lesson for gender equality over feminism. Women are taught this lesson from a young age. Why aren't we already teaching the same lesson to boys? The context is different but the moral of the story is the same.

[–]sonofsuperman1983 24 points25 points26 points 8 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link

I think part of the problem is boys with out dad. When a women get pregnant she is offered classes, money, in some circumstances social housing. What does a man get? No support in being a dad and suddenly we are shocked when they run.

Stick around for your son not the mother and save em from the toxic feminism of the world .

Never thought about this angle, especially when they work out their being used by the woman it’s got to hurt

What needs doing is desperate sex education were we teach boys how to protect themselves.

i.e. explain to them how very little protection there actually is if they ever find themselves in need of it.

Or how about we finally start giving men some reproductive rights?

The way this society thinks women are entitled to children from any man they want is simply wrong and needs to be changed fundamentally, period. Just because the woman carries the child doesn't mean the father has no rights.

As of now, women can literally steal your seed with no repercussions. They may impregnate themselves even if you only had oral sex or if you throw away an intact condom. Women can even rape minors and cash in child support.

[–]R-ageQuit 1 point2 points3 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I completely agree.

Honestly it’s horrifying to even think about being on the receiving end of this sort of betrayal. I could never imagine manipulating the man I love in that way. It’s a repulsive thought.

[–]Brusanan 7 points8 points9 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Well, I think the point is that it isn't just psychos. This is something that is socially acceptable to do. Most of us know several guys who have been trapped into having children they didn't want, or paying child support.

And lobby to change the laws that leave men holding the financial obligation for an unwanted pregnancy. But for the foreseeable future, teaching young men all the pitfalls of sex is the only real solution.

The completely lack of empathy or consideration for the men is a symptom of toxic misandry. The dehumanization of men is conditioned from early childhood, and it's getting more and more toxic.

[–]NoFanOfTheCold 35 points36 points37 points 8 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link

With rights come responsibilities. If men have no rights in terms of pregnancy, then they should bear no responsibility.

[–]henry1011 17 points18 points19 points 8 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Absolutely, women have all the choice but are absolved of any financial resposibility. And then it's the guy's fault 'he got me pregnant' as if he injected her with sperm while she slept.

[–]mwobuddy 1 point2 points3 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

When you think about it, you have a responsibility for what goes in your body as a man, right? Presume someone offers you drugs. If you take it, you're the one responsible right?

But presume someone offers to shoot sperm into you. This could get your body pregnant. And the one who shot sperm into you is the one responsible. The nearest analogy is a person who offers to shoot your veins for you. If you're a competent adult who isn't already under the influence and you say yes, isn't that on you that you get shot up with heroin?

But when its sperm, women, and pregnancy, its the fault of the injector, not the person who agrees to take part. Even though its their body which may bear the price of the arrangement.

Personal responsibility.

I currently have an 18 year old daughter that is the product of this bullshit. My ex stopped taking her pill, got pregnant on purpose and never told me until 3 months in, she even admitted to me. We had an on again off again 5 year relationship, a couple weeks after my daughter was born she split up with me, and informed me that now I know how it feels to be heartbroken, I guess she had some serious animosity about our last split which is crazy because at that point we had been back together for 2 years. She tricked me into having a child, and then split with me as some sort of revenge. At the time as a 22 year old low income male struggling to pay my bills, you can also guess how I got treated in family court, Seriously fucked up

What if child support worked in a way where both parents gave 50% of the required investment for the child. If EITHER parent can't do this, the other parent decides to go alone with the kid or give it to state care.

[–]Lovethoselittletrees 10 points11 points12 points 8 years ago (6 children) | Copy Link

My wife and her best friend had a conversation about this while I was in the room next to them. She was talking about how she disnt care if her boyfriend wanted a kid, she was going to get pregnant one way or another. If they weren't meant to be together she was going to at least get a baby out of him. Those were their words, not mine.

[–]TheAngryBird03 5 points6 points7 points 8 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link

I think you should tell her boyfriend, I kind of think it’s something I would want to be told

[–]Lovethoselittletrees 3 points4 points5 points 8 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

He ended up wanting a kid, they had one, he's an amazing dad. If that hadn't been the result in the end, I definitely would've told him. I just personally love the fact that I heard two strong feminist women who constantly demand equality and are huge #metoo and #timesup supporters have a discussion like that. The irony of it is so brash that it almost hurts.

[–]TheAngryBird03 0 points1 point2 points 8 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

Oh well I’m glad it worked out: I think feminists see having a baby as their decision only and their right if they choose to. So she didn’t care at the time if he was onboard because it’s her right to decide to have oNe

[–]mwobuddy 1 point2 points3 points 8 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Oh well I’m glad it worked out:

Not really. You didn't read the story. He had a baby with someone like that.

19 years in Colorado. Six months left of 15 years of paying my ex for botox and Marlboros.

[–]Ultramegasaurus 5 points6 points7 points 8 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

If a woman wants a baby from you, she is free to have it.

  • She can lie about contraception.

  • She can manipulate condoms.

  • She can impregnate herself with seed from safe sex acts.

  • She can blackmail you into impregnating her.

  • She can rape you.

Only two of these five possibilities are felonies. The chance of women being punished for these felonies is almost zero since "men can't be raped" and "always believe the victim" mentalities. Add the courts' reluctance to punish women for crimes in general (crime sentence gap).

She can keep the child in every single case. You also have to pay child support in every single case. Being underage, disabled, poor or unable to consent is irrelevant.

Let that sink in.

But sure, let's continue to tell boys/men to "lol wrap it up" and "dont stick your dick in crazy brah", I'm sure that suffices /s

Not to mention, women with children are less likely to be punished than women without children. Men with children are more likely to be punished than men without.

Anyway, isn't condom manipulation, blackmail, rape, and lying about contraception all rape? Stealthing where a man pretends to wear a condom and then doesn't is considered rape, right?

[–]Ultramegasaurus 0 points1 point2 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Manipulating or lying about birth control is legally okay for women. As you said, it's only a crime when men do it.

Blackmail and rape are formally illegal, but we both know how likely it is for a woman to be actually punished for this.

Earlier this year, figures from the BBC's Victoria Derbyshire programme showed a UK backlog of more than £3.8bn in uncollected child maintenance payments.

About 1.2 million people were owed child maintenance, the figures showed.

It's a pretty dumb gamble.

Why is the issue of reproductive fraud left to be raised by a tabloid?

Why have reputable media and the legal profession and society shown so little interest in the issue?

Reproductive fraud should be treated as criminal. Why does the law exacerbate it, instead?
