Female, liberal arts university, yadda yadda yadda. Moving on.

Does feminism have to come up in EVERY class?

Class on Hitchcock--Laura Mulvey article on the male gaze. How the act of looking, as a man, is predatory. Oh dear god, how is that a thing? We spent an entire class on that, and it's come up in every lecture since.

Class on Gothic Novels--look, male power! Look, rape! Look, feminism! Oooh, why am I even taking this class?

French Revolution--Not many major players were women, but guess who we spent an entire class on? Women! And how they were secretly running everything!

Gah. I'm not a feminist, I'm a men's rights activist, and I'd love it if I wasn't going to this school.

I'm sick and tired of liberal arts.
