It's so frustrating how these feminist-sympathyzers just assume that the sole reason for a certain company having a disproportionate amount of male leaders is bigotry, rather than the obvious explanation of merit. Last time I checked, living in the US gives every citizen the right to choose their profession, meaning that women should neither be forced into or denied leadership roles at their own will. As a woman, if you don't want to pursue a leadership role, that's totally acceptable; but if you do, then you should have to compete with everyone else who wants the same position, regardless of gender. But I guess I'm just a flaming sexist for treating men and women equally, with equally reasonable expectations.

I would think that having Women in certain roles just because you have to, is worse than not having them at all. The best person for the Job should get it Male or Female.

First they cry that they don't need to conform to our standards of what it means to be successful and then they cry when Roberts reiterates this, noting how conventional measures of success is probably not appropriate for everyone and therefore he doesn't see the lack of women in leadership as a problem.

While I don't personally disagree with his statement. As an elected board member what you say reflects the company you represent as a whole. Therefor, if there were going to be any potential clients who are lets say more "female friendly", his words could have easily fucked them out of a job.
