A woman we all worked with brought her newborn baby in for the office to see. She is now a stay-at-home Mom. We were all standing around, talking about raising kids and whatnot. The lady with the newborn started complaining (granted, it was through laughter) that her husband doesn't get up to feed the baby in the night nearly as often as she does.

My female coworker, who's closer to the couple than most of us, said, "Yeah, but doesn't he have to go to work every morning? Give the guy a break."

Her comment didn't put a damper on the mood, and in the grand scheme of things, it was a small gesture, but one that men would be hesitant to do. So for gals out there who are willing to stick up for guys, even in a small way, you have my gratitude.
