How is it brigading to have members of the community to come to a place called "ChangeMyView" to show their side of their opinion?

It would be like saying that Geologists can't comment on Geology threads because it would be "brigading".

This topic is EXPLICITLY about The Red Pill, and TRP people have a right to come over and share their perspectives about The Red Pill. That isn't Brigading and in fact should be welcomed.

First somewhat decent comment in the /r/BestOf thread

Let me tell you why people listen to TRP and PUA advice. Because it actually tries to help them out. The post selected for bestof didn't actually give the guy any advice. "This isn't going to get you what you REALLY want" "Just be a nice guy!" "Don't play their game, just be yourself!" This isn't helping. If "being himself" hasn't worked in the past 20 years of that guy's life, it's probably not going to help him too much in the next 6 months either. A comment that responded to the bestof post was a much better post and said this much better than I did, but I'll reiterate. The reason anyone listens to TRP and their host of problematic advice is because at least it's advice and it's trying to fix the guy's problem. Men get such terrible advice when they're trying to learn how to be better with women. If there was a better, non-PUA source that could teach men to be more confident, funnier, more attractive and more interesting then things would be better, but unfortunately that isn't how it is. You can either learn how to be a better and more attractive man with a heaping side of misogyny or you can continue being the "nice guy" that both men and women have been lampooning on the internet for years and stay unhappy.

Look, I'm not a young guy trying to figure out game.

Getting laid is easy if you have resources and the ability to ~~lay down a slick rap~~ communicate effectively.

Most successful guys figure this out by age 30. Be ~~cocky~~ confident, ~~don't take any bullshit from a woman~~ set boundaries, ~~don't be a pussy~~ be masculine, ~~be in control of the situation~~ set your own frame and most importantly ~~don't be a beta fag~~ value yourself.

Like it or not, this is a successful formula that allows men to gain the upper hand in male-female relationships.

Nothing about it is rapey. Nothing.

With feminists its all the same bullshit crying wolf RAPE RAPE RAPE story trying to bend the conversation from male self-assuredness to the strategies young guys have in trying to navigate LMR. LMR to a young guy trying to close the deal is: At the core of it we both want sex at this moment - you are unsure because of ABC reason...

How do we overcome that? Many guys post different methods - some aren't the brightest. It's not I know you don't want it at all, but who cares how do I get it anyway. It's trying to sort through the mixed message and get to what the young guy believes is desired by both parties.

It's a source of confusion for both young men and women trying to figure life out and turning that unsure awkwardness (Should we have sex - should we not? Does she want it or not? What should I do here?) into a universal rape label is disingenuous and opportunistic bullshit - and you know it.

The truth is TRP preaches that the MAN is the prize to be won - not the woman. It's not about getting chicks to put out when they don't want to. Alphas control frame. Alphas dictate direction. If you're doing it right, shit like LMR is a non-issue because the woman is very willing - and if it is an issue... NEXT - there's 10 waiting to take your place. Who's got time for shit tests and bullshit manipulations? I don't.

TRP is about self improvement and understanding the social dynamic.

All it gets men is them being manipulated. There is no fucking spoon.

When men swallow the red pill they understand they do have material importance in the world - and not to settle for one iota. They also believe that most women in western society are solipsistic, selfish and immature emotionally. All they care about is themselves. So what you do with women like that (while meeting your sexual needs)? You pump and dump or you MGTOW (or both) until you find the unicorn who actually gives a shit about you.

Humans don't understand social engineering.

They do not expect you to pop out the womb speaking French, or doing complex equations, or fixing cars. and if in high school or college you want say "I want to learn" these things, nobody bats an eye.

But charm a woman, or sell a car, or argue a point? This is something inherent (despite overwhelming evidence that it is not). And if you say you want to learn these things, you are a rapist, a manipulator, or an arrogant prick.

You know, when I was utterly BP, I hated manipulation. The thought of it made me mad and I avoided it. Even sabotaging myself to avoid it.

Then I realized that all social interaction is inherently manipulative. Even with my best friends I try to manipulate them into spending time with me by being more entertaining and doing interesting things. BPers don't see that as manipulative solely because they think manipulative=bad and friendliness=good so they can't be the same.

So now I freely manipulate others and everyone is better off because of it. I just only manipulate for a net positive outcome over all participants aka I don't convince people to do shit that hurts them, including myself.

For all the negative press TRP may get I can't help but think of the old saying that, "any press is good press". When I first came to TRP it was because I ran into a front page thread where people were hating all over it. Naturally my curiosity was peaked so I went and checked TRP out to see what all the fuss was about.
