So because she couldn't find any reproductive rights that are related to abortion for men, she decided to target men with sex-related medical conditions? I mean, if she didn't find any rights for men, it obviously means Patriarchy.

Men already have to go through a bunch of hoops to get ED meds. First off, they are usually not covered by insurance. For the majority of men suffering from ED, it's $30 per tablet each time they want a day in which they will be able to achieve an erection. And if the insurance does pay for it, there is usually a prior authorization process where paperwork, paperwork, and waiting are always part of the equation. All those people at Medco, Aetna, or whatever get to see your name and that you need Viagra. And even then, if you are the 15% or so of people whose insurance will actually pay for it, you likely have to pay the highest copay tier for an average of 6 pills a month. $30-45 or so for 6 pills. That's right, folks. Men (again the ones lucky enough to have an insurer pay for it) get to have sex 6 times a month if they have a medical condition. Otherwise, its $30 each time.*

If women had to go through the same hoops to get a month's worth of birth control as men have to in order to get a single erection, there would be feminist marches organized in Washington and clever Twitter hashtags about it organized and at fever pitch by 3PM tomorrow.

A significant percentage of those that oppose abortion are women. Just like a significant percentage of men are perfectly fine with women having broad reproductive rights. Why act like this some sort of bizarre, absolute gender war? This legislator needs to grow up and realize that two wrongs don't make a right.

What's stupid about her stunt is this. The people who are against abortion aren't against it because they—on principle—believe that the state should control women's "reproductive rights." They're against abortion because they equate it with the killing of a human being. So, unless you want to argue that every sperm is sacred (thank you, Monty Python), the rationale for her bill stems from a non sequitur.

This is crazy. If she wants to make an equivalence between killing an unborn child and medication then she should make an equivalence with ED meds and tampons. Perhaps she can use her own stupidity to make women jump through hoops to get meds for their periods. The sheer stupidity and sexism of this woman are apparent to anyone with intelligence and understanding of the issues. False equivalency aside, she does have a valid point. The process to get an abortion can be ridiculous, depending on which ass backwards state you live in. I think her position would come across a little better if she compared womens' birth control options with male birth control options (condoms).

Stupid fucking deranged, irrational, psychopathic, antihuman cunts thinking the killing of a growing human fetus and its permanent ramifications are no more significant, than is the blood flow to a man's penis. I was "pro-choice" (still am to a limited extent but don't think it's in need of defending anymore) after being raised in an extremely anti-abortion family—you know, going to those rallies against abortion when I was a child and seeing trucks show up with pictures of dismembered fetuses plastered across the sides. I still saw the other side—while also not blaming all pro-lifers for the extremism in some of their movement. But the absolute fucking psychopathy of the obvious majority of pro-aborts who want to say that abortion is exactly just like any minor medical procedure, and equate a human fetus to a tumor if that's what a woman decides it is, has got me absolutely revolted at this point. I'm never defending these fuckwits' ideology even to the extent that I find it acceptable, because I'm not going to bolster their narrative when it as far as possible from being threatened.
