People get suspended from schools for wearing the meninist shirt. That account has sent out a lot of vile tweets. I can't say I'm surprised they were able to convince the school to shut it down. Even if you don't have any misogynist material in your club, you have a bad case of guilt by association.

The sad thing is that most people, including the feminists who shut it down as well as myself, didn't even know what this club was going to be about. Was it going to just be satire? Would it have focused on real issues facing men AND women in the real world today? who knows.

This is a legitimate criticism. When you use a trolling word like "meninist", I can't even tell what your goals are, and the feminists don't even know what they're shutting down either. It probably doesn't help much that you openly admit you don't know what the club is supposed to be about.

Even if you look at this as some giant troll campaign that is really intended only to prove a point about freedom of speech, that is just too fucking meta for most normal people to process.

It's because of shit like this we have Internet celebrities like Nostalgia Critic making fun of "meninists", with no one being able to tell whether he means MRA's or not (I think he does?).

Take a stand. Quit fucking around. Leave the trolling on the Internet and keep it out of meatspace.

You're being WAY too focused on anti-feminism to be a legit club.

Change the name. Focus on mens issues. Stop attacking feminists. WTF does Bruce/Caitlyn Jenner have to do with your club?

When your sign has someone saying "I was born in the dark of Feminism", you're attacking another group. Period. I don't care if it said "I was born in the dark of a Police State" with a picture of Tamir next to it. Attack groups don't survive on campus.

So, be POSITIVE. Push Mens rights. Acknowledge that yes, feminism has it's place (and that most feminists aren't on Tumblr) but that's not what you're talking about. Discuss the issues without blindly attacking others. NOTHING on your sign has anything to say about the issues that men's rights faces. Child support? Longer sentences for crimes? Shorter lifespan? More dangerous careers?

You could've done lots with the sign. Instead you make a fucking satire group. "Muh fee feez! But muh menz!" All these things that feminists say about us you put on a fucking sign as if to back up their views! "No one opens the door for me", how is that even an issue?

Honestly I'm 90% sure you're a troll.
