UPDATE 2 Went to trial. Was found not guilty. Sweet, sweet freedom. Now looking into lawsuits.

UPDATE 1 More inconsistencies with her story and reality discovered in the video. She pulls her own sweater down over her shoulder right as our encounter begins. Also she claims I grabbed her left breast when the side that her sweater was down was her right shoulder and if I did make any contact with her chest, it certainly was not on her left breast. Every single aspect of her statement to the police is inconsistent with what occurs on the video. She also says on her statement that after I "yanked down her sweater and grabbed her left breast" she turned to me and said "if you keep talking shit, I'll have you kicked out", and then walked out of the bar. A minute or so later the bartender came in and kicked me out. That's the motive for her making it all up.

Hey all, got a throwaway for this.

Much earlier this year I was at a bar with some friends when an incident occurred that has thrown my life upside down, and I don't even remember it. I even believed I actually did it until just about a month ago when I saw a surviellance tape I hadn't seen before.

I went out drinking with my buddies (I'm 25) and blacked out pretty quick on accident because I take daily anxiety medication and you're not supposed to drink a lot on it. Next thing you know I'm being arrested outside a bar on a different side out town.

I was accused by some girl of "yanking down [her] sweater and grabbing [her] breast." I have no memory of this and spent 3 long days and nights in jail pondering on what could have happened while I tried to process that I'm being charged with a sex offense. The bartender said he saw it too and kicked me out. The bouncer said I bragged about it outside. And they have a tape to prove it, they say.

Well this whole time I've tried to process how I could've done this but was ready to accept consequences. My lawyer had me take a psycho sexual evalutation (Cost me 2 grand) to prove I'm not a creep. I took a polygraph proving I have no memory of the incident whatsoever. I got character references from 7 women, including kindergarten teachers i'm friends with, ect.

Well recently my case got set for trial because the DA hadn't made any plea offers yet and my retainer ran out on my lawyer. This forced me to find a new lawyer, who I was referred to from a friend. Well doing this prompted to me ask my old lawyer for the survellance tapes to give to my new lawyer. When I did, I got a second tape I had never seen.

The first tape I saw didn't really show me do anything, but it was hard to tell and my lawyer didn't seem excited about it so I just assumed the tape didn't help my case. But when I saw the second tape (different angle) it provided much more context to the situation.

1 - It is 100% obvious that I never pull down her sweater at any point.

2 - It is >99% obvious that I never grab her breast at all, but that I am actually making a hand gesture toward her.

3 - It is 100% obvious the bartender does not actually see the incident. He is turned away and on the other end of the bar during the incident.

Her sweater had actually fallen off her shoulder and was already hanging down when she approached me, and you can clearly see it is that way before the "gesture" in question. After I make the gesture to her she jumps back a bit and pulls her sweater back up over her shoulder. I think I was probably saying something rude to her about it, as she had just interrupted my buddy rudely.

Note, her boyfriend is right behind the whole time and he never appears to be shocked or hostile at any point. After the incident she walks out of the bar. From what I've deduced, she started crying about being disrespected to people outside and told them I pulled down her shirt and groped her.

I honestly think the DA just hasn't watched this video very closely yet, because it is certain that her story is false and that there are no actual witnesses to it as the bartender lied to police about seeing it as well.

My new lawyer (JUST officially hired him today) is awesome and feels confidence this case is going to end up being a joke when he gets a hold of it and I hope he's right. But today the DA finally made an offer which is garbage. Offering me an "attempted" version of said crime which results in 5 years as a sex offender instead of 10. That's after my polygraph, my PSE and character references. They offered me that shit.

So anyway I'm getting pretty pumped about trial because if I win I can also sue this girl for making this all up. But obviously I'm nervous. And the fact that the prosecution still seems confident that they can convict me has me wondering, have they not watched the video yet or am I just fucking crazy.

Anyway, wish I could show you guys the vid but I can't. Not really sure what I posted this for. You guys will just have to take my word on it as to everything I've said, I have no reason to come on here and lie.
