That's what he said. Government out of marriage.

The homosexual agenda could have been "Stop giving unequal treatment to heterosexual couples! Get the government out of the bedroom and fix the tax system!"

Instead it was "Give gays the right to marry".

It wasn't just about tax benefits and insurance. So many people are on record saying it was also about erasing any stigma associated with gay unions and making homosexuals feel just like everybody else.

There are lots of people who said civil unions were not good enough.

And now, what happens if churches start doing a whole new ceremony for "traditional marriages" calling them "HOLY UNIONS" or something and heterosexual couples all start referring to their "holy union" and no churches will allow heterosexual couples to get one.

.....And here we go again. Feelz. So many feelz. Something will have to be done.

There was this little glimmer of a chance where we could get the government out of part of our lives....and we blew it!
