She even mentions that body-shaming of women is bad, while unashamedly body-shaming men! What a bitch!

Not only that, she wonders why men are allowed to get by with being fat while women aren't - huh! Apparently she hasn't figured out that there's a whole movement about body-acceptance for women but not one for men! And if she thinks DeCaprio is fat, what about the rest of us? It's not like we all have 2 hours a day to go to the gym and get ripped.

When did the definition of masculinity start to mean weak, fat and lazy?

I'm sure she also has a piece shaming women who don't contribute as much money to the relationship as men, asking since when did femininity become synonymous with helplessness and dependence. She must dread each time she sees a diamond ring on a woman's hand when that woman didn't spend the same amount of money on something for the man.

That's totally reasonable... but it's something for couples to decide between themselves. Sometimes partnered folks are both very fit, sometimes they are both absolute porkers, and some couples have an asymmetry in body composition and don't seem to care about it. Whatever, if they're happy with each other then it is nobody else's business.

her opinion is fair enough, "women you better be trim and sexy, men the same applies to you"

its equality, if she was claiming women can be lard buckets but men must be trim then it would be unfair.

the gender flip of her opinion is all over reddit. i.e denouncing fat women with trim men.

she isnt forcing anyone to do anything she is merely setting her own preference about what is considered fair to her and what she deems socially acceptable. she isnt going to actively stop or prevent anyone pairing or liking who they want.

men being unfit lard buckets should be (and actually is) just as unappealing as women being lard buckets.

I am no lard bucket but if i was with a trim and beautiful women and i started to gain weight i have no problem with her telling me she finds it gross and expecting me to "trim up" for her.
