Wait, are we not allowed to think that a woman is overly ambitious? Is being overly ambitious something that can only happen to men now?

This is just looking for someone who will tell you that your shit doesn't stink.

What kind of strong, empowered woman can't take criticism? What kind of strong, empowered woman has to have a yes-man at her side, agreeing with everything she says?

How about just looking for an equal, someone who can be supportive but challenges you to think a little? Because maybe you are actually overly ambitious. And maybe not every single idea you have is wonderful.

The wage gap exists precisely because women expect men to pay the bills. If more women than men choose to be the primary caregiver and defocus on career to free up greater time for family life, then the pay gap will always persist. Essentially this woman is arguing that men must continue to pay women's way until such time as men refuse to pay women's way.

Suddenly why I am MGTOW is so much clearer. Women are drug addicts and we are enablers. For them, we must stop enabling them.

Furthermore, there is a hidden factor in the wage gap which goes completely undiscussed: the prison gap. There are more low-skill, low-education women working than men because low-skill, low-education men are significantly more likely to end up in prison. This artificially inflates the number of low income women relative to the working population, which will always skew the aggregate down. This is why correcting the .77:1.00 ratio for educational attainment instantly boosts it to .85:1.00. Eliminating the motherhood gap raises it to .96:1.00, which begins to approach the margin of error in data gathering, and could *easily be accounted for by a combination of women with enabling husbands choosing lower income work that is personally satisfying, women being more likely to care for elderly parents or disabled siblings, etc.

Ultimately, these goals can only be accomplished by fundamentally changing human nature and removing freedom of choice from society.

Why anyone would want to find such a thing is beyond me -- it would be rather like finding a turd in your hot-tub! As for the article, i didn't go past the first few paragraphs in which she goes on about the wage gap and claims that feminism is about treating men and women as equals.

seems pretty compatible with what we believe - it's about not getting stuck in traditional gender roles, evaluating peoples beliefs instead of the groups they identify with, and not allowing feminist rhetoric to replace real human connection.

Realistically, I'm a far-left progressive, and I've long since accepted that feminists in my dating life is just something I'm going to have to live with. If they haven't already been poisoned against MRAs by Jezebel and the like, it's usually not too huge of as issue, since we fundamentally agree on almost all women's rights issues (abortion, birth control, etc).

If their attitude is something to the effect of "MEN'S rights? What rights do you feel like you don't have right now? It's workable since it indicates that she's open to dialogue. If her attitude is "MRAs do raise some valid issues, but the whole movement is just so misogynist!" then she's already been brainwashed, and it'll never work out between us.
