Your point in the title is good, but I didn't think the example used was a good one to prove your last paragraph. So, it's true that women will not want to do much if they don't care about their SO, but that doesn't mean they don't care about their SO because he isn't an alpha. I've seen many situations where a girl was pulling out of a relationship and bent over backwards to please the person they were leaving, whether it was out of guilt, or track-covering, habit, love, or whatever. So no, a woman doesn't have to be attracted to you to please you.

Furthermore, regarding the content, it should be pretty obvious that women (and men) are capable of doing things that they don't necessarily want to do, for reasons that may be a bit more complicated than "he's beta/he's alpha".

Personally, i've seen this effect you're talking about numerous times too, where someone was incapable of being 'involved' in sex with more than one person at a time. I saw it as a sign that people have tendencies towards monogamy, rather than an "alpha/beta" thing. That is to say, a person may cheat, or may "fall in love" with someone else while continuing the original relationship (which seems ostensibly non-monogamous), but the original relationship basically becomes a shell of itself.
