Good question and I think you're shit out of luck. After Zoe Quinn and gamergate I think it's obvious there are none. Your best bet is to find a quality youtuber who shares your same taste in video games and subscribe to them.

The Escapist is still a good site. They make a very real attempt to be balanced and fair. While they don't always succeed, they try. I say this because they refused to take down the thread about GamerGate despite the fact that it resulted in a DDOS attack. So long as you are reasonable articulate truthful and don't rely on profanity the Editor and Chief defends freedom of speech.

I really avoid all gaming sites nowadays. If it's not on Steam or in my now one E-mail a month from Nintendo, I pretty much don't care anymore. I used to go to Gamespy (no longer active) and Gamespot for news and reviews but I don't even do that anymore. Specifically for PC though, you can't beat Steam. Although it's changed a bit recently and references Kotaku and other game sites that hate gamers suddenly. Still more user friendly regardless. Peer reviews have a lot more weight there but they still show official ones. All together on a games main page, as opposed to just one opinion trying to sell you on it.

Edit: Peer reviews have the time they have spent playing said game shown and usually several hundred if not thousands of people who vote on the legitimacy of that review. Something like "388 out of 400 found this review helpful" and the guy will have 400 hours invested in the game. I think it's safe to say that game is pretty good if 97% of people agree with his take and time spent really looking it over.

Traditional game journalist sites are dying And they know it. This is their desperate attempt to stay relevant. To many quality independent reviewers out there for them to compete with their paid for review bullshit.

To be fair, many MMOs are guilty of objectifying women. Look at WoW. While BOTH genders are built to represent ideal images, there is a notable difference, which is in armor. The armor comparisons are laughable as well as sad.
