Truth. It used to mean someone who can't get laid, either because the standards for men keep getting higher or because of some other reason. It was a way to put down certain men, and to look down on them and consider them less.

It's still used for that purpose but a man can be just about anything and have any view and, if someone doesn't like it, be labelled an incel.

It's similar to misogynist. Say something that a feminist doesn't like or can't refute, you're a misogynist.

Incel is a word that is meant to insult people. That’s it. People feel triggered by it, but it’s just a word and a person can decide their own reaction to it. You decide how you feel.

Incel means involuntary celibate which is a label given to men who want to have sex but are unable to for some reason. Truthfully, there’s almost no guy that has to be celibate.

If you can save a few hundred bucks, you can pay a woman to sleep with you, which, as strange as it sounds, might be cheaper and safer (given how fastidious sex workers are with their sexual health) than trawling tinder.

I think a better way to describe incels would be lazy fuckers who like to complain about their non-existent sex lives but won’t do anything about it.

I’ve got no patience for lazy men. Sure, women are far from perfect but if you’re sitting in your basement bedroom pummelling yourself to porn instead of sorting out your situation, it’s not the fault of feminism.

The word incel has had the same problem as feminist. It's a label, but the label has become more associated with a group of people rather than being a pure descriptive definition.

Words tend to cease to be useful when there's a lot of confusion or disagreement about what they mean.
